I haven't played SimCity 4 in at least 2 years but after seeing this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8a60EXbeX-M&t=1s I was really inspired to start playing again. I still have my SimCity 4 regions and plugins folder but it is an absolute beast (8.4 GB!). I reinstalled SC4 from the disk and have gotten NAM, Day n nite, and a terrain mod so far but I have no idea how to tackle redownloading every dependency once again. I've tried to purge my old folder of mods I didn't want but just ended up with a mess of boxes. If anybody has gone through the same process I would appreciate some tips on how they did it. I would really like to emulate the style in the video as well.

I wish to completely restart my game to its default state on Steam, including any mods or save files. I have already tried asking this on the official Cities: Skylines Discord server, but I had no luck there as my question was not answered sufficiently, nor appropriately. I'm asking because the Paradox Launcher fails to launch, without even closing and giving no information other than an "error: game failed to launch" message in regard to pre-launch crashes or any other failures whatsoever. So, I've just had enough and wish to revert the entire game to get around this issue. I DO NOT wish to discuss the loading issue any further and just want to remove all progression and changes to the game - further questions in relation to the failure itself will be ignored. Thanks in advance.

Sooooo... While trying to upgrade my storage, my computer somehow got wiped of all my files, including a bunch of screenshots that I had lined up for upcoming entries. I still have the savegame, and will continue the CJ, but it will take a slightly different direction. Thank you all, especially @Linoa06, @kelistmac, @BruceTedder, @RandyE, and @bobolee And here is a teaser image for the new CJ!

Hey there, I recently decided to load up the game again after several years. I never really got a chance to interact and play with other people. I'm looking to see if anyone is still active with this game. If you are, and would be interested in joining up for a region or something, Would you let me know? Every region I have joined says "Active recently" but I'm not sure if anyone is really playing it, or if there is one random person who still building something. I'm looking to get started on real active region. Any Takers? Look me up in game as DJHardset. I usually play on NorthAmerica1,2 or 3 servers.
