First of all, Hi. I have a thing where I always like to zone my lots 3 deep, always... The problem is that the vanilla game only lets you zone 2 lots at a time if they are 3 deep. And building a city 2 lots at a time is time consuming and depressing. Is there a Mod that will allow you to Drag and drop 3x lots the same way as 2x or 1x lots without the game suddenly suggesting/demanding its own version of the neighborhood you want to create? Please let me know if I need to be clearer, it's a confusing thing to explain. If there is not an app that does this someone needs to make one. I think it could be huge. Feel free to DM me. Thanks!

Any Method to Know the Lot Size of Buildings?

In the past couple of weeks, I've noticed that if you create a building that is larger than the max ploppable lot size (in the case of my strip mall...it is 13x12), it obviously will overflow it's boundaries in the asset editor...it will however still allow you to plop said building in the game, with part of the building overlapping out of it's designated plopped area and into other things around it...could we not use this to our advantage when designing growables? Could we not make a growable model as large as we want, designate it a 4x4 or whatever you feel like, let it grow somewhere, and use the eyedropper tool to make functional "ploppables" anywhere we want? With proper care by the user (such as deleting other lots and trees around the oversized growable), could this trick not also be used to create large growables without having to wait for CO to increase the max lot size? If no one else has noticed this (or maybe I'm just crazy ), then let me know...but I think we as a community could exploit this. I know its a workaround to a known problem, but it could allow us to have larger growables like we want. Thoughts?

Hello, I wanted to ask, what is the size of the game lots in real measurements? One post claims it is 16x16 meters: Here it is 50x50 meters: The first size would mean that cities are rather small. Even the biggest tile would not be bigger than half of, say, Amsterdam's urban area. This seems too small. Anyone knows the correct size ratio? Thanks

Greetings,Simtropolians. I have question about building lot size, specifically Maxis buildings. I have a few mod but I don't have any custom growable/ploppable lot. From what I know, in low density residential, it's possible to have 4x4, 4x5 lot. In low density commercial, there are 2 buildings that are 6x6 lot (i just discover this yesterday! ). What is the possible lot size in each low, medium & high density residential/commercial zone? (original, Maxis buildings only not BAT stuff) If it possible, where can I find the complete list?
