  1. i appreciate they are japanese in origin but it's nice to have some more modern commercial buildings, stylistically so far i think they probably fit in most countries. I was hoping for some mid century commercial stuff, you're doing a great job here !
  2. i am continuing my adventure bit of a suburban transition that i think has come out well my attempt at a rail depot (the warehouses are supposed to be trainsheds, not ideal but they function i guess), plus a tram depot overviews of new area
  3. these are great. could you do a commercial version as well? perhaps the shops would be on the ground floor something then residential above.
  4. will these end up as apartment conversions perhaps ?
  5. great work. if only i had enough ram
  6. i am subscribed to 631 assets, it takes 3 minutes to load. i have an ssd and only 8gb of ram, idk if the osx version is making a difference here though.
  7. edging out to the suburbs... overview facing north
  8. i am also having the same problem as avanya, when i place the fences they just dissapear
  9. very useful, thank you. i was hoping for a good way to place hedges with minimum effort, this seems like it will be more than adequate!
  10. thanks. well my main influence was actually copenhagen, but i spent a lot of time looking at other coastal european cities like rotterdam, antwerp and hamburg. additionally i looked at inland german cities like hamburg and cologne. it's a bit of a mix because there's unfortunately a lot of gaps in the content available on the workshop, you can do half german (central anyway, not much hansa stuff around) or half scandi but i think it's quite hard to do one exclusively atm. here's a current overview looking south: i'm hoping to keep the main built up area within the trees and then having some light suburbs outside of that. closeup of south of the river which is like a planned new town (similar to dresden's) to come i'm planning a (small) la defense district for offices and commercial activites, a baroque palace and gardens (will use up a good amount of empty countryside) and big uni campus (and obviously an airport)
  11. i posted some pics of what i was doing with your excellent oils facilities before. i have rebuilt them bigger and better !
  12. thanks for the update, your stuff is always great. here's what i've been doing with it
  13. i was wondering, is there a technical reason why the quays are always rounded, even at right angles? this is the only thing i don't like about them, but i assume it is something to do with the way the terrain is shaped underneath?
  14. Pure Newbie question - 1st post

This is more than ample to run the game well (16gb of RAM and an SSD is definitely recommended and this has both of those, as well as 2gb of VRAM). I can't comment about full retina resolution but I'm almost certain you'll be able to run the game with all the settings maxed out 1080p.
  15. I'm getting serious performance issues with this mod enabled, even when I disable almost all the roads (I'm only interested in a couple). I understand there are some memory problems with the mod (I only have 8gb). Is there likely to be a fix in the future for this?
  16. the art direction for sc3k really was exceptional imo. triangle terrace was one of my favourites, i tried many times to recreate it in gmax.
  17. Feindbolds Buildings

Very Nice! I was really hoping you'd get round to doing some low density euro commercials, they're the one thing really missing from the game.
  18. Feindbolds Buildings

If you're doing some euro buildings, would you have a go at some low density ones? I think that's the one thing that's really missing now as CO didn't seem to bother with low density euro stuff at all.
