louisville327 If I'm not mistaken, I believe that Skidmore, Owings and Merrill left the option open to make Burj Dubai taller even after construction began. That would be a good reason why the final height has never been revealed officially. That's what I was thinking too The only thing that is nice is it's massive height. Other than that, looks like a tall castle from blast from the past. I take Burj Dubai anytime. Modeled from the Desert Flower, if you look at the floor plans itself. Take a bunch of pencils, make sure some of them taller and some shorter, sharpen them hard enough, put them all in a bundle and there you have it But I believe no structure in the World is ugly. It just doesn't looks good that's all.
