  1. Yep i think i'll rebuild it. population is back to 0 and everything is abbandoned. I guess i will have to find each building and plop it again on the same spot and rezone the residencial and comercial areas (ony very recently i started populating the city). For me it would be harder to make the sea front and road system again. Plus i'd have to spent too much time deciding wich building would be the best for each area again.
  2. Yes i do have a backup but i've made some progress and the backup file is a bit old.
  3. i did try it but it says "there are no previous versions available"
  4. Hello, how do i restore a previous saved city? I saved my game by mistake when i exited game and now i got my city ruined. Ive been building it for more than a year now because i don't play too often. Help please
  5. Hey guys, where can i find realistic MTA subway cars? Im trying to recreating the bronx, queens, harlem and brooklyn, and some nice subway cars could really improve the ambient. This one looks amazing, but i cant find it . And where can i find row houses and housing projects? There are some pics of my version of the bronx. I know its nothing special, but it's just to give you an ideia of what ive been doing.
  6. Looking for realistic cars

Well, there are ways. For the best possible looks, I'd use the Avenue FLUPs, but unless the building is an overhanging LOT, it won't be possible to make them functional. You could make a tunnel, but it would become very overscaled and probably not too urban-looking. I've tried my own NYC rereations before and, believe me, it's difficult. oh yes, i almost gave up... diagonal bridges, tunnels everywhere, underground rail to the central station, highway to bridge intersections ect....
  7. Looking for realistic cars

Looks good! i'll use the same strategy! Thank you!
  8. Looking for realistic cars

Thank you KonstantinII for the links! Thank you airman15, i'll follow your advice, and, wow you have got some great mods! Nice. I have another question though. Is it possible to build a tunnel passage under buildings? I need a highway passage under the UN building, something similiar to this: Is it functional or just eyecandy?
  9. Hi, im trying to recreate NYC on simcity4, and i need detailed american cars, to make my city look a bit more realistic. PS: Is there a way to make taxis spawn? You cant recreate Manhattan without taxis!! thank you!

  12. Real Life City Recreation Tutorial

Hello, i found this topic and i thought it would be nice to share my city with you. It's supposed to be Chicago, but the lack of Chicago's buildings and the difficulty of re-creating some of chicago's features, made me add my twist to the city. I've been working on in since March because i don't have much time to play, but i plan to finish it this summer! I hope you like it. Grant Park (Cloud Gate, Millennium Monument, Jay Pritzker Pavilion, Art Institute of Chicago, Van Buren Station), Aon Center, Two Prudential Plaza, CNA Plaza, Smurfit-Stone Building. Old Chicago main post office, Willis Tower CTA's Brown,Purple and Blue, Pink , Green Lines, to the Chicago Loop. Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, Soldier Field, The Field Museum
