Generic Salad

I can't upload the screenshot because its over 1MB, but what happens is that at certain zooms, one of my buildings looks at if the texture isn't there, with a blue background and little squares, and when I get closer, it just goes to total black. Any way to fix this? One of the buildings is the big St.Elizabeth hospital, and the other buildings that were required to use St. Elizabeth also have this issue. I should mention it isn't the whole building, but the little entrance plaza thing... Hello, thanks for replying, and sorry for not responding, something important had come up. I forget the name, but the hospital in the picture is a dependency for this huge hospital that covers a whole tile... anyway, I'll be downloading all the files you've suggested and flattening the land like you said. I'll post an update in a few! Edit- here is the hospital that covers the large tile: Sorry about misleading you guys, I always mistake it and call it st. Elizabeth, dunno why..

So I turned up all the graphics and it was still there, I'll be trying changing to 32bit colors right now.

Is it possible for me to take a region that has cities in it and make a copy of it thats blank(as in with no cities in it)

If anybody has seen or knows of a mod that puts snow caps on your mountains,so that when i go to god mode and make on theres snow on top.. and if anybody knows of a nice mod to replace Maxis grass textures!

Living in NYC my whole life, every morning on my way to school I cross a bridge and I get a pretty view of the Midtown/Downtown skyline. One of my favorite buildings in the Bank of America Tower! It stands out! And in all my time playing SC4 I never found a BAT for this building! I'm going to be getting a WIN 8 laptop soon for school,and I wanna know if SC4 would work on it,I've read around the internet and I keep getting mixed answers. Also,since it's a laptop,most of them dont have CD drives,so I'll have to use one of those external ones.

So I want to make a desert city,and I want to know if it is possible to get a dessert terrain..Also,if there is a mod that puts snow on the ground,that would be great too.

I recently downloaded the Sears Tower from here on the STEX. I tried placing it down,and when I did,only the base of the lot showed up. I looked back on the page where I downloaded it,and it doesnt say anything about dependencies. Any help?

When I download something,and there is a duplicate,does the cleanitol delete the duplicate automatically,or do I have to do it myself?

Hi! I'm new the the Simtropolis forums,so I am very,VERY sorry is I posted this thread in the wrong place,I know that happens sometimes! Anyways,to my problem,that I hope you guys can solve. You see,in my region,I have 2 cites that are close to each other,Shanghai and Hong Kong. Shanghai is directly under Hong Kong,and there is a highway that connects the 2 cities. The thing is,in Shanghai,all the sims are choosing to commute to Hong Kong,and since that is a long commute,they end up being jobless,making their buildings look black and ugly,and forcing them to move! In Shanghai,I have transportation that covers most of the area where the residential is,and the I-HT is on another island to the north,there are a few subway connections to this I-HT(almost forgot,there is a bridge connecting both islands). I dont know how to take a screenshot on a laptop,so if you know,maybe I can show you! I have the NAM mod,the mod that gives Maxis made landmarks jobs,a crime doesnt pay mod which lowers crime alot,and a few BAT(about 6-9 buildings) If anyone can help that would be great!Thanks so much to anyone who reads this!Keep building!~
