Just found this when rearranging the industrial area on one of my cities. In case you didn't know, Omegocorp is part of the new Cities of Tomorrow expansion pack and has been used in previous versions of Simcity. Look for it in one of the industrial 'junkyard' lots that pop up in open industrial spaces.

The "Wish-This-DLC-Would-Come-Out" Topic
syga replied to GoingNumb's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
I think some useful ones would be- -Building customization -More city specializations -More great works (farm, megamall, water reservoir) -Ordinances (like Simcity Deluxe) (i think this would be really cool) -BIGGER MAPS (not only square=shaped but more natural looking) -Filling up the space between cities (country dirt roads and small farmhouses or holiday houses. -More RCI options (for example, Tourism Commercial would be souvenir shops, museums) -Zoo -More transportation (subway, monorail, double-decker bus, helicopter) -More types of cars (you see the same car model every 5 cars) -One-way roads -Wider roads -Street-side parking allowed on some low-density roads (to make it look more realistic) -Law (have a courthouse that you can build in the government menu) -Road editing (assign places for u-turns, remove traffic lights) -More office buildings -More rides and stuff for the amusement park DLC (there are only like 8 rides so it gets boring after 20 minutes of gameplay -Intersections for tunnels (update 7) -An underground layer view These aren't really 'DLCs' but they are some things I'd like to see in future updates/patches. -
Hey guys, I just upgraded to Update 7. I haven't played too much yet, but go ahead and discuss your opinion.

Civilian cars in Simcity do move aside to give way to emergency vehicles. It's just that when there are traffic jams in your city the cars can't move to the side and other cars are way too far ahead to notice the fire engine/police car etc., so the emergency vehicle ends up stuck in traffic. A fix for this is to add low density service roads along the sides of the main roads in your city and place emergency services on these roads. You only need to connect these roads to one end of the main road This way the emergency vehicle gets to the main intersection in seconds and no other traffic will bother going there because it doesn't lead to anywhere other than your police station/fire station. Hope this helps

SimCity (2013) Official Mod Request Thread
syga replied to Cockatoo's topic in SimCity (2013) Modding - Open Discussion
You don't need that many emergency vehicles - I have a residential city of 60000 with 4 police cars 4 firetrucks and 4 ambulances that works seamlessly. Instead of adding more vehicles, add more facilities to the Police, Fire, Clinic like extra jail cells, prevention and detectiove wings, fire bells and fire marshal offices and patient rooms and waiting rooms to your emergency services. Another helpful tip is to get a flawless mass transit system so your roads stay clear for emergencies. -
Could you post a screenshot of the texture that you're using?

The yellow house means an abandoned building which you should bulldoze if it is not marked as 'For Sale'. The red bulldozer means rubble because of a fire, crime or such. The people marked in yellow means homeless people. -

Dormitories allow you to add more students to your university (from both the region and the city) without having to up valuable space making new residential zones. EDIT: Sorry this is pretty much the same as some of the above posts!

Hi, I was wondering whether its possible to listen to your own music when you play Simcity. The stock music does get a bit tiring after a while. Whenever I have my iTunes (or VLC/WMP, whatever) music on and I start Simcity, the music gets overrun. If anyone knows which folder the music is stored in and if I can replace that with my own MP3s, please post. thanks, syga
