  1. If I had just spent $60 on a game and I was unable to play it because the serves weren't operational I'd be pissed off too. "just mad" is insulting. they have every right to be mad! EA insists on online-DRM, fine, if they want to play that game then they have to make the game playable, which currently it isn't. stop. making. excuses. I admit it's a mess. They should have done the server things way better, trough pre-load and adding more servers before launch.

    Windows 8 is at it's core Windows 7. Just the Start Menu is different. Should work without any issue .

  4. Maxis did good expect for game bugs. The major issue here is the fact that EA didn't have more servers at launch, nor have the ability to Pre-load. I have faith in the game. Still need to wait for my copy and I know what is going on already so I'm prepared. ill give it a week or 2 before the issues are gone and some positive reviews are shown on Metacritic, Amazon that doesn't focus on ''Origin crap, Hate EA or Server issues''.
  5. People are just mad that they can't play. Their just finding a place somewhere to express there frustration. Wait for a week and check back.

    If you threaten to use charge-back then yes they can ban you. Same goes for Steam. Both Terms of Service talk about in the case that someone forces charge-back trough their bank, the account will be banned.

  10. Hello guys , New guy here. So I have played SimCity since I was a small child and just now joined Simtropolis. I have been following the forum sometimes but never registered so I did it now . Anyone who wan't to team up for some fun multiplayer next week? ill add you on Origin. Secondary can be Steam

    Hey guys , I'm Robert Oortwijn. I live in the Netherlands and played Simcity for the first time on the Playstation. Then when my parents finally got a PC I played Simcity 3000 and later Simcity 4. Those where the only games I was able to play on that brick PC lol. And now it's 2013 with Simcity coming out next week Can't wait! Best regards to Simtropolis, Maxis & EA!
