The best strategy i could think of is play in balance and have a great patience. A big city like New York wasn't built a night, yes? Moreover, you are the god/mayor in SimCity and you decide what's best for your city. You won't entirely rely on our strategy. If we are to put all of our strategies here, i'm afraid even you can't read all of it. There are tons of tutorials on how to play SimCity out there. Just do a random search in Google and you'll find a tutorial eventually. The thread called Omnibus in this site is also a good place to absorb some strategies in developing city.

Questions from me, what kind of mod did you download related to the heavy rail and/or el-real before? I see you got the catenary mod. Any other mod that you downloaded? And what "the black surrounding the rail" were you talking about actually?

Uumm,..sir, that was my post several months ago. I have "technically" found the exact canal and it's not oppie canal set, those are brown. What shown in the picture is debussyman canal set. It's quite hard to identify, unless someone around here is also using that water mod. I know it's not a conflict thing, but If you want to remove that mod from your plugins, a will help you find it. Hope this help.

Not enough info for us to help you. Please be a little more specific.It's like you just said, "hei, i have a big cities in my regions but they bankrupt. Can anybody tell me why?" Huh.. But, if i had to explain, then all i have to say is play in balance, and manage your city well. Don't just zone and zone without paying attention to the demand, and do not build civic buildings recklessly, cause they will absorb your money each month greatly if you don't manage the funding well. There are lots of tutorial on how to play Simcity here and even out there in the Google world. All you have to do is search using the key word "tutorial". If you just recognize your plugins, you'll never encountered this kind of problem. Simply remove every suspected files within your plugins and see if that change anything. Though it's not a conflict thing, but this by Nonny Moose will help you find the culprit.

One thing should be noted that you will never get the Space Port if you're playing in easy difficulty. Well, unles you use that 'you don't deserve it" cheat. Nevermind, posted almost the same time with cyclone.
