  1. I thought this SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition for Windows 10 was complete. When I got home and opened the case and I found DVD #2 was missing. I have the original SimCity 4 Rush Hour DVD. Will the original Rush Hour DVD sub for the DVD #2 that is missing? Or is there someplace that I can download the DVD #2? Without the #2 DVD I am up a creek without a paddle.

  3. The Urban Renewal Kit in SimCity 2k let you build custom buildings or modify an existing tiles or buildings. Let's say you wanted to make a camp ground tile or a rest stop tile. Urban Renewal Kit also lets you place buildings and tiles into the city from it's list of pre-made buildings and tiles.
  4. In the region "Timbuktu", the city "Big City". How do I change the mayor's name from the default "Defacto". I had all of this kind of info written down and in a file box. My apt got broken into. The person though I had important papers in the blue file box. All that was in the file box was notes, short cuts and cheats for games, Windows and things like that. Plus blank forms and other things for Amateur Radio. All of that stuff was only important to me. It was worthless to anyone else.
  5. For SimCity 4 deluxe, Windows 10. Is there a "urban renewal kit" like there was for SimCity 2K? I have some ideas for a custom tile.
  6. Thanks Jeffryfisher. I forgot about that syntax error. It is the smallest syntax error like that, that can drive a person batty. Specially if said person has a lot of irons in the fire to worry about.
  7. BINGO, "-CPUCount:1 -w -intro:off -CustomResolution:enabled -r1280x1024x32" That worked. Thanks
  8. The "-Intro:off" cmd worked last time I used it. This time it isn't working. I am getting an error when I hit apply in the properties See the attached JPG picture. Without The "-Intro:off" cmd in the target string SimCity 4 Deluxe run's 100% fine.
  9. I have used the -intro:off before on the Windows 10 Home and Pro 64 bit and it works fine.
  10. I just looked at the copy of SimCity 4 Deluxe that Steam has available for download. It is the same thing that I have on DVD right now. And I have to shut down and unplug everything NOW. a thunder storm is moving in. cul

  12. It is 2:06am pdt Friday morning here in Washington State. I have diabetic neuropathy and the pain sometimes keeps awake untill I get tired enough to pass out from the pain. Then I only get a few hours of sleep. I also can't go outside except for very early in the morning before the heat of the day or after sundown, again do to medical problems. The high yesterday was 107f/41c. I still have my hand held flight computer/calculator.
  13. I am going to try this approach with my older verison of SimCity 4 Deluxe on DVD as appose to using virtualbox. I haven't even figured out how to make virtualbox work 100% yet.
  14. I found a place to download dgvoodoo but I had to use Google Chrome to do the download. It wasn't my firewall/antivirus that was squawking It was Firefox that was squawking. May I ask? what part of the USA u from? You must be a night owl like me.
  15. I just downloaded the 4GB patch. Do you have a copy of "dgvoodoo" that you can send me? Everytime I try to download it Firefox blocks the download because Firefox thinks it has virus and other bad things inbedded in it.
