@CorinaMarie

      Just want to chime in but don't want to add more headaches right now

      By lifting this, you are just referring to individual files for one building or whatever right, not whole plugins folders? May want to specify or else there could be some who exploit the loophole.

      Thanks!

      Yes, you are correct. This is a temporary thing for transferring a few STEX files back and forth between members. It is not to be construed as a free pass to share entire plugin folders. *;)

      @rbscott23

      Cyclone Boom dug up the files and we hope these are what you need:

      Also the PDF attached to the description is:

      The Google cached page is here should that be of any use to view details from the description. I've not a clue whether all files are required and in what combination, so you'll probably need to figure that out yourself.

      We've had the STEX up for members only for an hour now and it seems to be doing ok. You should be able to get the file(s) you need directly from there, but I'll leave the above linkys just in case.

  2. Where to locate an airport...?

    Near Low Industry or Low Residential...its always okay to put near Agriculture zones...
  3. SimCity: Wishlists

    of course it isn't...we're looking for the best simulation game available...
  4. SimCity: Wishlists

    Two things I'd like to see... ...being a real simcity fanatic and the basis of my cities being industry and residential zones, I'd like to see telephone poles to be laid like power poles to link city services i.e., fire and police, for faster response in certain areas or between on-line regions, and cable lines ran underground for news stations, etc., Cable lines used between regions and regional players to communicate while playing on-line or to update a region player, maybe as a mini IM screen...
  5. New Screenshots

    Wrecks, I'm lovin' what Maxis has done so far...5 March we'll really see what the Glassbox engine is worth.

  7. REGineering Sewer Man-Hole Cover
Exellent lot! However, I get a brown box instead of the concrete sewer man-hole. Which of the dependancies am I missing? The dependancies list "BSC Mega Props".. but which mega-pack is needed?? There are many BSC Mega Prop packs...
PatriXdk, Thank you and try downloading the BSC Mega Props from LEX on SC4devotion.com, the BSC Team is continually updating with patches and fixes. Their Mega Prop set should include the needed dependency. However, feel free to customize the lot with Lot Editor Tool to fit your city grid/plan. Also, make sure the model/dat file wasn't excluded from the plugin folder.

    I love your BAT'n style. I started playing Simcity in 1995. In 1999 I purchased Simcity 3000 Holiday Edition while working for a home builder in North Carolina. In two days 27, 000 sims in Pine Island, rewards and more simileons than I knew what to do with. When Simcity 4 came out in 2003 a close relative told me it wasn't worth it and to purchase Civilization instead, my brother also introduced me to Command and Conquer: Red Alert (he'd play online with his army buddies) so I danced around Simcity until the summer of 2010. I'm kickin' myself everyday. Anyways, I'm new to BAT'n. I use the primitive Gmax, although I've registered with Autodesk, Gmax is good for beginners. I fell in love with Paengs landscaping, Pegasus's creativity and your BAT's. There are some good teams out there but I like what you do. Keep it up, Simcity 5 is right around the corner!

  13. In the beginnin'...

    ...Simcity 2000; a mere college student then, started a island city called 'Fairview'. Played and updated the city inbetween cirruculm classes and durin' computer lab hours. Fortunately, Fairview went from 500 sims to 8000 sims to well over 15,000 sims with just minimal Industry, Commercial and my obession with Residential areas. Four years later before I graduate Fairview surpassed my wildest dreams... Simcity 3000 Holiday Edition was the birth of Pine Island, within a few days I'd amass 27,000 sims, obtain balance, high mayor rating and reap reward after reward. Simcity 4, is the challege I've been lookin' forward too for years. I've debated for 7 years whether to play it or not amongst good and bad reviews...today the re-birth of Fairview and surrounding cities...today it begins....

  15. REGineering Sewer Man-Hole Cover
Awesome! BUT!... Can you put a link with the BSC Pineforest Pack. I can't seem to find it here or on the LEX
Sure! 18. REGineering Sewer Man-Hole Cover
Great idea, have many around here. Altho I thunk its a bit over scaled, so only 3/5 from me. Model and texture are great, just rescale it a abit. Also, could I ask for a grey concrete version? And also, might I suggest, making the top a 'lined' texture, instead of a solid one, like this. http://www.touchofte...NV30063_lge.JPG
First, thank you for the constructive criticism, we've plenty of these in the Texoma area! As far as scale: in-game if you plop a "water treatment plant" then go to underground view by enabling water pipe you'll notice ither a circular pipe or what looks like an open manhole from the Maxis team in the middle of the lot, this is what the REGineering Sewer Man-hole Cover encloses and if you plop one will notice the pipe is covered entirely; anything smaller and this pipe is exposed. Remember, generally designed for one to two persons to be able to negoiate within the manhole. Here is a pic of one you might find in or around rural areas. http://www.epa.gov/region6/6en/w/sso/sso12.jpg I've already a street side manhole with your suggestions in mind and plan to upload after getting some testing done, you might enjoy it. Your suggestions are very welcome. If you've used in game, I would love to see it in your rural areas!

    Living in the Midwest, you see alot of rural towns and stretches of land in between such towns; however you don't see the big costly water treatment plants as those found in Maxis. Here is the Concrete Sewer Man-Hole Cover used for maintainence of underground water pipes, and to give your rural area waste water treatment at an affordable and manageable cost to your small town. Concrete Sewer Man-Hole Cover used for maintainence of underground water pipes. Cost $15 Monthly cost $3 Bulldoze cost $2 Water consumed per month 36 cu/month water treated per month 432 cu/month This a 1x1 lot, very useful [rural], providing jobs and water treatment of connected water pipes along the infrastructure. Dependencies - BSC Pineforest Pack, BSC Mega Props, BSC Mega Textures. *Screenshot includes in-game barn models from Paeng/Murimk Productions, concrete sewer man-hole B.A.T. by S.cottC.onceptsD.esignI.ncorporated
