Going to dip my toes back in the water...been six years since I was last here but I recently got a new Alienware PC and downloaded SC4 Deluxe a few days ago. Glad to see that this community is still going so strongly.

Yeah so I opened up wine but I have no idea how to work it. I also don't have my copy of SC4, it's back at my parents' house in Michigan.

Welcome back. You can run SC4 under wine on MAC OS/X. http://www.winehq.org/ This lets you run with your windows version.

Well I stopped by for a visit today, haven't been here in a few years...been thinking about getting back into SC4 but I switched to a Mac last year. Hopefully I'll hang around again.

Well this is my 5th year...have been absent for a very long time but I recently fired up SC4 again. Might be seeing more of me around here, but I won't make any promises.

Quite an interesting topic here...I don't have much to say that hasn't already been said, but did anyone happen to read the article on Yahoo! the other day about the worst commutes? Detroit was number three-I thought it would have been number one! -
CaptCity I believe it was part of a pack, but I'm not sure what! I know it's a BSC thing but I couldn't find anything on SC4Devotion... TV-VCR #7 is Deja Vu by SimGoober-You should be able to find it on the STEX, if not check out www.sc4devotion.com #11 is a fast food restaurant by KevDan44 #14 is Oneil's Carson Plaza-I think. I know it's Oneil's but I'm only 85% sure it's "Carson Plaza"

Well seeing as you weren't there and, at best, have only seen edited media, I'm going to have disagree with you. You don't seem to see that it's possible to be very competent, educated, and still go to a rowdy party. This "riot" has been made out to be this catastrophic event-perhaps some people haven't bothered to read the details, or just want to jump to conclusions. Like I said before, I laugh at this because this stuff goes on all the time and for the 95% of people who were there, we're going to go on to be successful grads who aren't idiots and this event will simply be something we laugh about. Nearly half of the people arrested/detained had no MSU affiliation and those who were were charged with MISDEMEANORS.

I laugh at how seriously everyone takes this, especially because I bet none of you know anything about MSU. The best part is that we can throw a 3000+ person party and still be successful grads and be recognized as one of the world's top 100 universities and top 30 public schools in the US. Please stop assuming that we're incompetent fools and failures based on what edited media you've seen.

Being tear gassed is quite an experience. They started by throwing flashbangs and smoke bombs at us-but those don't do anything-and a lot of people thought it was tear gas...which we quickly found out it wasn't and so everyone went back to what they were doing. There were just a few people that were yelling that and most people just laughed at them...most of us didn't really want that gas.

Sigh. I knew this was going to happen; you guys only see what the media wants you to see-take it from someone who was there. JanYpe that is completely ridiculous. We are by no means failures.

I love it! Huge residential complexes are so cool! Excellent work, but as Jason said earlier, model the ribbing on the roof; it will make it look 10x better.

Looking great! Maybe you should try a more uniform texture for the facade? Perhaps a simpler brick texture? Anyway I'd be glad to export the model for you, but I only have GMAX on my computer so I dunno if I can help you or not. Tolle Gebaeude!
