  1. I'd love to see CSL borrow or adopt the vehicle AI in this game, Intersection Controller: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=se.shadowtree.software.trafficbuilder
  2. http://www.citystategame.com/ I tried to search this here but no one seems to have brought it up so far so yeah. I hope its a good game, the game will be out by Feb 22 this year https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=se.shadowtree.software.trafficbuilder Not exactly a ciybuilding game, its a traffic light management game of sort. but the fun part here is you get to layout your own roads and simple objects as if you're creating a small city. the best part of it is that it has a server where you can share and view other uploaded maps. This game's vehicle AI makes me wish that CSL would adopt it, no more cars driving on a single lane in a highway (well at least most of em )
  3. Frustrated with Lack of Land Space...

Better wait a bit further for Cities: Skyline, other than that go with the mod as suggested.
  4. Keep an eye on Cities: Skylines, I think that is what Simcity 2013 could have been if it aimed to be a successor to Simcity 4 or given more time to develop.
  5. Plopping signage and flags, etc.

Perhaps if the game developed well, we might be able to customize the looks of these buildings as if we're playing with Legos given that they'll provide more ploppable signs and flags for every building. But alas we're only limited to the one that came with the basegame and perhaps some with the EP.
  6. What's going on here?

    I like the way you laid the park, that is something my grid oriented gray matter couldn't come up with ^^;
  7. SimCity free trial

They finally made the beta open to the public? Good, more testers then.
  8. Maxis/E.A. has been too quiet

Do tell where to look, I guess we'll start somewhere around Reddit & Twitter?
  9. Help, am I being ripped off

methinks it is clearly stated behind the box on what you'll get with LE
  10. Having to place parks next to roads

The gameplay is heavily tied to its Agent system of game mechanic. That's why everything has to be connected to the road for them to work :/
  11. Official forum offline?

Ok I just managed to access awhile ago on another computer with a different ISP thing. And they have this posted up on top of their forum and softly blinking I might say. So I guess everyones hunches here on why we couldn't access it are probably right. Hopefully things will get better there soon. Afaik I can access my account there with my phone logged in using the ISP that I tested with that other computer. Pressing the Log In or Register button there don't work btw.
  12. Official forum offline?

Wasn@Cyclone Boom I tried that link but no luck. That 232.page looks familiar, is that the 'main directory' of the Simcity forum? @bpyazel Wasn't there a (confirmed?) rumor that some hackers attacked the forum? This is the same thing that happened a few weeks or months ago. That's my best bet other than "I'm banned" on their forum.
  13. I couldn't access it, anyone here can?
  14. Cool Find in SimCity_App.package

Do you mind if I share this at the official forum?
  15. I have been thinking of these two undercover Utility Agent of ours in this game and its impact on the game a few weeks ago. Right now imo they look pretty randomly roaming around the city, and that's what I'm concerned about. Just how much cpu power does it take to do that? One might say its negligible that's why 'the game can get away with it.' On the first few weeks, if not months of the game from its launch, someone tried to experiment with a swirl shaped road and found out that the electricity isn't reaching the farthest end of the road with that design. Well we can take it from here that the player probably didn't generate enough power to supply the farthest end of homes. Creating a simulation of blackout*. But I have a city in Sandbox running a Nuke and Water treatment plant both providing resources more than my city needs with no neighbor sharing it with and yet a portion of my city in the southwest corner of the map is running short of both resources at one point. The two plants are located roughly at the north or northwest of the map. Thanks to that plus the rumor/thought that this game is cpu intensive and Glassbox's limitations, I am left wondering with the question above. * As for the part where portions of your city that aren't receiving these resources even though you have more than enough to provide for the city, I look at it as a "simulation" of blackout in the game. I never thought anything for the water part though So do you think those Utility Agents can be distributed more effectively or are they better off left as they currently are? I just realized now that there's only two of them (power, water) doing this random roaming in large quantity so perhaps their impact on the performance might actually be negligible, or not?
