@ Blue Lightning Nice simple design (what does it represent though?). However having a gradient of blue is strange for flags. They usually just have a single colour, presumably to make them more easily reproduced and more standardised. That said, the gradient does give it a more modern feel.

Wow, the building looks very great. The only thing I thought I should point out is that the over hanging red coverings will not work properly with the new road widening mod roads (in fact, I think the poles are on the road in the turning lanes at the upper corner there). I can see that there is a problem in that a smaller building won't look as good on regular roads, whereas a larger building sticks out onto widened roads. I don't think it is really worth making another version of the building for, but you may be able to get away with shrinking them (or even the whole building) a bit, and moving the building further back.

I really like how the there are just a few patches of colour which jump out in the first two pictures, in among the darker, greyer pictures. It creates a nicely dreary look. Very good CJ in general, all the updates are interesting to read.

Update 11: A Quick Look at Devlin Center
CHR commented on Vahr's City Journal Entry in Devlin (AFDES)
Nice city, kind of Hong Kong-like. The RHW is seems quite compact, and provides nice breaks through the tall towers. The sign model looks very nice, though I think the industrial in the top picture looks a bit out of place among the skyscrapers. -
Wow, the forts looks great now. The moat and walls make it look a lot more impressive than when it was under construction, and I see the gates have textures matching the rest of the fort. The town is looking much nicer with the stone roads, and the garden fits in well. Soon all the patricians will be coming over to enjoy the sea air and the quiet. Those pillars by S. Lampiero are quite interesting. Maybe they could place flaming torches in them during ceremonies to Mars, show the military power of the Romans over the darkness of the barbarians and what not.

Lovely RHWs as ever. Plenty of traffic, all those sims are going to be late for work. Might I ask where you got the train station from? The only thing that confuses me is that the road coming out of the tunnel (i.e. entering the highway) seems to connect twice into the same direction of the RHW, rather than once to each side. Then again, I might just be getting confused by the right hand traffic.

9/10 Awww. Very nice. Though maybe a little too washed out at the top. I can't tell if they are dancing or hugging or what.

The port looks great, it fits in very nicely with the Roman theme. I also really like the farms, it looks more natural in these pictures. Mysterious flaming objects falling from the heavens. Sounds like something interesting might be going on... I think that it would be best to build a barracks. They can't rely on soldiers coming over fast enough in an attack, and afterall, the Leonians aren't barbarians - they wouldn't attack another Roman colony which is only trying to defend itself.

The FDA has found all our steak to only have minor side effects, much safer than most other drugs. Anyone want some, they're half price for a limited time only!

It's interesting that everyone seems to support the legal drinking age in their respective countries, they must drum it in pretty well as kids I guess. I personally think 18 is a pretty reasonable age, (living in Australia, where that is the drinking age). 16 (the age in some European countries) seems a bit too young to me, but 21 seems too draconian (especially considering most places consider you an adult over 18) Originally posted by: Leech10 How much is an STP worth? quote> Sounds pretty close to dollars, 30 STP for a meal or a few hundred for a nice room. What does STP stand for anyway?

The newsletter is great. It will be interesting to see how you develop the region.
