Not everybody in Quebec want live 'isolated' from Canada. Quebec in fact are a bilingual province. In education purpose for example, McGill university teach in english, and Montreal have anglophone schools - the province run in both languages.

I think the situation in Quebec is about the 'freeze' economy. The investors and a lot of workers moved since 70's, even the official language is just the french. So about the education, here in Brazil we have excelents public universities. They grant a limited number of vacancies, with is fulfilled with annual test, called 'vestibular'. We are not industrialized like US or Canada, the students have less practical classes than the renomated North American ones. However, the teachers are excelent, althoght some suffer lack in infrastructure, we cooperate with international programs and a lot of researches has been fulfilled with great advances. Yeah ! If we could 'personalise' the streets, i hope I could make my avenues with BRT like Curitiba city. The glassbox engine could make a city and transport simulator !

Located near to North Ittawa Metropolitan area, Martinville its a important secondary industrial pole, and route of many trucks. None of whom goes to Martinville don't take a picture there. The city is very amazingly pretty and original. I don't wanna be hard critic, i hardly do the same as you, but the city isnt realistic. A Boom of skryscrappers rounded by industries and without suburbs, i have never seen it in real life. However for Simcity it is good. Specially the transit, is my favourite part.
