Oh right, I looked at some screenshots, it looks nice. If you could do something like that, it would be great of course. I just think that personally I wouldn't really mind if the graphics were like the graphics for the orignal Tropico game from 2001, as long as the gameplay was great. Good luck though. Have you heard of LinCity? it's a city building fan game too.

I just have a question; I think the 2.5D is better and more adequate for city building games, and 3D seems to take a lot more time and is harder, and doesn't allow for higher levels of detail. 2.5D, that is what it is called right? The way it is in SC4. I know that as technology advances, people think 3D should be easy and imprlemented in all games. But, if you kept it in 2.5D you could focus more on the actual gameplay, and add detail and stuff to buildings. Again, this is just a question. I have no idea about programming or anything related to it. It just seems to me that making a game in 3D is harder and more demanding on computers? I think that even if a good 3D engine with great graphics was made, that I would still rather have a city building game in 2.5D. Maybe it's just me. Anyway, if you are serious about creating a game, make a topic where people could post ideas, because I have a few that haven't really been mentioned much. Ideas for gameplay that is, not about building and programming a game.

So what are you supposed to do with the CD1 and CD2 parts? Just download them and keep them somewhere safe in a folder?

I have a problem. i registered (as Mark), and so obviously had the key etc etc. And I downloaded the whole 2.whatever Giga Bytes. But, when I log in and press Play, I get a microsoft error problem. Also, when I run the two packs of 1 GigaByte each, you know, the "Installing Core Gameplay" 1 out of 4 and then the "Installing graphics" 2 out of 4 well, I didn't see 3 out of 4 or 4 out of 4. Is that normal??

Wow, nice pictures and a great start! I was actually wondering which map that is and where I could find it in the STEX, as I really like the look of it! Ah.. or did you maybe terraform it yourself? (in which case, good work!!)
