Since a week ago or so, when browsing the site, I've been seeing this message in place of many images: This happens for examples with all the images posted by @Haljackey, @kschmidt, and @Dreadnought. Does anyone know if the bug is caused by specific image hosting services, or by a new firewall or something? Thanks.

YO, GUYS -- I recently sent @AP a snapshot of some stuff I was doing on the Bremerhaven map -- and for some reason he was unable to view the image. He got a "Content not viewable in your region" message. I sent the picture via the Simtrop PM system. This has never happened before. He immediately became worried that members of the community might be having the same problem. IF POSSIBLE -- Could EVERYONE view this particular image -- PLEASE. IF YOU SEE THE IMAGE, CLICK THE "LIKE" BUTTON AND I WILL KNOW IT'S OK. IF YOU CANNOT SEE THE IMAGE -- PLEASE SEND ME A "PM" -- RIGHT AWAY. INCLUDING YOUR COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE MIGHT BE A CLUE TO THE ISSUE. (NO personal information beyond that, please.) Sorry for the "bother" -- but I would appreciate your cooperation to try and solve the issue "AP" is having. THANK YOU -- THANK YOU --- 10 Replies

Imgur to ban explicit images and delete uploads not tied to an account | Engadget Honestly this was to be expected however this will be yet another blow to web forums, I'm still mad when I see photobucket pictures on old pages because they went about it in the worst possible way. But I guess we will all start needing to host our own server if we want to keep our photos online.

Imgur picture links on simtropolis no longer working due to maintenance, database error´s, site conversions ? Since my move to Imgur some 1 1/2 year ago everything have been transvered to this site ! Recently somehow randomly due to cache some appear lot not, but refreshing last CJ links wich got corrupted I aswell see these corrupted within no time, what is the matter ? Maintenance of simtropolis has trippled last year due to the site new site version or does it be to crowded, some ellements on the mainpage I may believe makes loading times take too long. Reeditin all content I will not do so any one who want to see of my work I liket to point to the two gallery´s Mayon Province and ANNO Europe as these contain most of these CJ series pictures. Long as this issue is around I will update the last two CJ, more may be deleted due. Hope we will find the cause of this issue ! Sincerely yours, kschmidt

This may seem somewhat odd, but I wanted to extend an invitation to my fellow Imgurians, but I didn't want to post about it in the form of an image because that just seemed awkward. However, though I anticipate my response rate to be low, I do ask that only Imgurians contact me. If you would like to join, please send me a message on Simtropolis or add me on Origin: AusQB88. I'll also need you to provide your current Imgur username so I can verify you. I know that sounds weird, like I'm authorizing your account for customer support, but I hope you understand I'm trying to make sure it's strictly an Imgur community game. We don't want any 9GAGgers in there. I do currently have a 16 city game open on Pacific 1, but I have no issue if anyone would like to start fresh. It would probably be a good idea since I've already claimed two cities. So if you're interested just let me know. I'm bobe on Imgur by the way.
