I made these many years ago for my personal use when the lot editor was first available, but never thought to share. I found them very useful prior to Road Top Mass Transit, but I still use them all the time when the situation calls for it. This is my first upload, can you tell?? These lots are simply the maxis 1x1 bus stop expanded to two tiles; one paralel, and the other perpendicularly oriented to the road. The original 1x1 has it's place, of course, but when I need a bus stop in a spot where Road Top Mass Transit is not practical, I use one of these 7 times for every one time I use a 1x1. Much respect to the geniuses behind the various road top mass transit systems. My little contribution here can't hold a candle to those, but I've found these bus stations to be a useful supplement and if these can help anybody out, I'm glad. No Dependencies - Enjoy -

Still having various problems with SC4 Tool. I heard there is supposed to be an SC4 Tool dissussion thread somewhere on SimTrop, but I cannot find it. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Can someone help me out? Certain parts of SC4 Tool are not working for me, namely the "comparer" and "exemplar editor" functions. They load up fine, but when I try to open files the program freezes because (I think) it is trying repeatedly without sucess to execute some small subroutine it requires to open such files. I have windows Vista, unfortunately. Is there any known compatibility problems for SC4 Tool with Vista? In the SC4 Tool "Log" file, it states the only error that occours is with a "startup" function, and coincidentally, a vista popup informed me that windows blocked a startup program, but would not display it much less give me the option to allow the function to proceed. Does anyone know what the problem is here??

phew! my old computer took a dump on me and I lost all my plugins! SC4 just wasn't the same game without them on my new computer. I'm very very glad I found this one agian! Near perfection in it's simplicity. It's helped me design some killer parks and will no doubt continue to serve my sims in the parks and rec department well. Good work and thanks again!

Probably not the first to say... but VERY awsome bringing back the Plymouth Arco. Great idea, i love it! Thanks to whoever though of that, and of course whoever did it, wow, thank you -
Sorry everybody, I bought the game. I'm keeping an open mind though...I'm waiting to see where EA's going with this. I've been playing since 1995, so why quit now right? I'm still optimistic that this is just a tangent, and simcity 5 is slowly on it's way. No matter what though, I will always love simcity. I hate to say this about a guy I revere, but I don't blame EA for this terrible game, or tilted mill, I blame Will Wright for selling Maxis to them in the first place. And of course the folks who apparently keep buying Sims 2 expansion packs. ehh whatever, I just an old fart with backpain and an axe to grind. damn kids and your music...

From all the SCS screenshots I've seen so far, all I have seen is the same boring road/street surface. This game seems to have the same amount of variety or less concerning transportation infrastructure as did Simcity 2000 (which, don't get me wrong, was a great game), but first of all that was the early-mid 90's, and second, although available in the game, buses, trains, boats and planes really had no qualitative effect on a given city. Now, based on the screenshots, I am deeply concerned: Show me one measly bus, one stretch of railroad track, one bit of elevated traintrack, an airport, a boat on the water, heck even a futuristic pneumatic tube conveyance system for peetsake. Even a screenshot of a road running diagonally would tide me over for awhile. just a small sign of sophistication and appreciation for realistic city simulation is all I ask, I'm worried guys No matter what all the buildings look like and what they do, that's secondary to me. If what they've been showing, this dull, squarish Simcity2000esque road is all there is, if that's all they got, then this game is gonna suck. Furthermore, if in fact thats all there is as far as transportation infrastructure, that will be very disappointing because it will show that these Tilted Mill folks (who've been subcontracted by EA to make this game instead of the time honored and proven in-house team Maxis), really didn't take the time to understand what Simcity is all about and what people who play it want. This game is obviously geared toward the "Sims" crowd (The Sims being the product that EA was really buying when they aquired Maxis, not Simcity), and not toward anybody whose ever had the attention span required to play more than a half hour of SC4. Buncha dupes Hey I'm not bitter nor vindictive, I just want to build a mass transit system in my SCS city, that's all
