  1. Cori's Rock Shoppe

Cori's Rock Shoppe by CorinaMarie@Simtropolis A picture catalogue of every known Rock Mod for SimCity 4 Note: I did not create any of these mods. This thread is simply to display each rock mod using the same city tile for easy comparison. If you find this useful feel free to use your browser's Save As function and do a Save Complete Web Page. This will give you an offline copy with all the pictures. My content is freely available for use by anyone. You can even make a duplicate thread on any other site if you like. Please, just be sure to give me credit for the original creation. For peeps with 16:9 (or other wide screen) monitors you could open this thread in two separate windows side by side. This would allow you to have independent scroll bars to compare specific mods. It would also work if you have dual monitors tho there may be some slight color difference between the two. Other Threads in Cori's Shoppe Series: Cori's Water Shoppe (Linkys to and Pictures of every Water Mod) Cori's Beach Shoppe (Linkys to and Pictures of every Beach Mod) Cori's Terrain Shoppe (Linkys to and Pictures of every Terrain Mod) Cori's Jolteon's Tree Shoppe (Linkys to and Pictures of almost every Tree Mod) And see: C.O.R.I.M.A.P.S. - A Tutorial for SimCity 4 (Quick alternative realistic map making method) Note: If you download a mod and have any difficulty with it and when all else fails, read the ReadMe instructions that comes with it. The rest of my game is vanilla atm so the only difference between the pics is which rocks are installed. 2. PEG PPOND Rock Mod

    Version 1

    4,724 Downloads

This is a simple, optional Rock Mod that changes the appearance of the rocks in-game to match the rocks and boulders used in the PEG PPond Kit. I'd like to drone on and one... extolling the many virtues and superior features of this rock mod. But it just doesn't have any. Its just a simple rock mod that uses the same mossy rock texture used primariliy in the PPond Kit. * As with all rocks mods, there can be only one installed at any time. Be sure to remove any other rock mod you have installed. ** No dependencies. All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.

This is one of the newer series of Rock Mods that use an improved development process and are more photo-realistic. As with the original Rock Mods, you now can choose a rock terrain that is more appropriate for your region. Transform the appearance of your entire region with the simple install of a single DAT file. This install contains the single Mossy Granite rock style which can be used as almost any type of gray colored igneous rock. The bits of moss would make it more suitable for moist climates. This style will be installed in a separate folder in your Plugins folder by default. I suggest that you simply drag that folder to your desktop or some other location and then drag the .DAT file back into your Plugins folder while you sample it. REMEMBER... Only one style can be installed at a time... including any style installed from a previous Rock Mod pack. Each mod contains new texture files that overwrite the game's default rock textures. You can return to using the default textures at any time by simply removing the DAT file from your Plugins folder. * Some textures work better with smoother terrain while others are better for terrain with more jagged & sharper edges. Also, some look best when zoomed-in while others appear more natural when zoomed out. You will want to experiment and decide which style is best for you and the way you play your game. **This file currently contains an .exe installer suitable for windows users. These files are in the process of being updated with zip files and this message will be removed once the update is complete. As with the original Rock Mods, you now can choose a rock terrain that is more appropriate for your region. Transform the appearance of your entire region with the simple install of a single DAT file. As with the original Rock Mods, you now can choose a rock terrain that is more appropriate for your region. Transform the appearance of your entire region with the simple install of a single DAT file. This install contains the single Weathered Granite rock style which can be used as almost any type of gray colored igneous rock. This style works very well on steep cliffs as well as exposed rock along coastlines. This style will be installed in a separate folder in your Plugins folder by default. I suggest that you simply drag that folder to your desktop or some other location and then drag the .DAT file back into your Plugins folder while you sample it. REMEMBER... This is a re-release of the 4th and final original PEG Rock Mod and includes the fantasy styles. These are not not really useful at all... and certainly not realistic in any fashion. But they were fun to make... As with the original Rock Mod, you now can choose a rock terrain that is more appropriate for your region. Why settle for that ugly brown crud... when you can have beautiful colored rock gracing your cliffs and mountains. Transform the appearance of your entire region with the simple install of a single DAT file. This install contains 4 different styles to choose from. 11. PEG ROCK MOD 1

    Version

    11,070 Downloads

This is a re-release of the original PEG Rock Mod - designed to replace that "Chiseled Mud" look of the game's default rock terrain. Now you can choose a rock terrain that is more appropriate for your region. Why settle for that ugly brown crud... when you can have beautiful colored rock gracing your cliffs and mountains. Transform the appearance of your entire region with the simple install of a single DAT file. The install contains 6 different styles to choose from. This is a classic "Highlander Mod" in that 'there can be only one...". All 6 styles will be installed but only one can exist in your Plugins folder at a time. You will need to manually remove the one's you don't wish to use. You will want to experiemtn and decide which style is best for you and the way you play your game. **This file currently contains an .exe installer suitable for windows users.
