  1. DuskTroopers W Ravenn Tower

Doesn't weathered copper turn to green?
  2. Equinox (aka Spartan-117), Thanks a Lot! (pun intended). BTW: I suppose I need v1.01 of the powerplant - am I right? cag PS1: nice site you've got ( http://spartan117.simvision.net/ ) - I especially liked the Pegasus archive!! PS2: please forgive me my (s)he ignorance - I tried to be old-fashionedly correct but was misled by your avatar.
  3. Fox, Thanks for your reply, but it's not the one I'm after: Equinox claims she has translated the UI's for these fine lots - I would like to lay my hands on these! cag
  4. Equinox claimed: Date:7/4/2004 11:03:01 AM Author:Equinox What's the big deal with the smilies ... lol? Anyways, I've been working on a LOT of projects lately, but here's all I have completely modded (a good promo pic for SOMY, I'd say) quote> But where can her mods be found? I certainly would like to DL them cag
  5. A new lot to be found at http://www1.megaegg.ne.jp/~tokitoko/index02.html Some kind of a carferry - but it has a militaristic look. I (or rather Babelfish) can't make anything out of the accompanying text - maybe Armandeus can give us a clue? cag
  6. Harbor Village by Cobb

Very, very neat - you can feel the good vibes! Just too bad that it is no use to put residents in such fine lots. 10 points.
  7. An ore mine: to be found at http://members3.tsukaeru.net/bripizza/mine/mine.html Note: there are two files to be downloaded: re_mine.zip and MultiMine.zip - they are hyperlinked at the bottom of the page. The second file contains the lot, the first one is a correction. Babelfish tells me that it has a plopcost of 70000 and a monthly cost of 150. I don't understand what's so multi or multiple to this lot - maybe Armandeus can help us out? cag
  8. My Experiment in tunneling

smoncrie, So sorry - I didn't expect you to take me serious on that one! It was just an outcry that I would really like to lay my hands on your mods. In the meantime you put them on the STEX and I already DLed them - they're great, thanks a lot for makin' them available! Keep the good work goin' and of course: publish your improvements! cag
  9. Census Repository Facility

If you can't get it to work, just PM me - or if Raphaelninja allows me, I could post this modified lot on the STEX
  10. Census Repository Facility

just open the lot with DatGen (or the Reader) and look into the lot exemplar for a property called "Conditional Building" (0xEA3209F8) - set the Boolean value of this property to "false" and save the file. The lot is now always available from the Rewards menu
  11. Census Repository Facility

I found the condition that Raphaelninja built in as annoying as a few other people in this thread. It is easily removed however:
  12. Hole Digging Lots

Very innovative, very useful - 10++!
  13. My Experiment in tunneling

Date:6/15/2004 4:23:37 AM Author:smoncrie Does anyone have any interest in a lot that lifts up the ground level??? smoncrie quote> YEAH!!!!!!!!!! (Stop teasin' & fooling around - just publish: both the floor lowering as well as the floor lifting lots. IMO it will be a great tool for city modellers!) cag
  14. My Experiment in tunneling

Date: 6/13/2004 8:40:05 PM Author: Hi, I have created a lot that can be used to dig tunnel entrance ramps. I would like to know if people are interested, and would like me to clean it up and post it. quote> Please post!!!! cag
  15. Berliner Reichstag

    Ausgezeichnet!! Full 10!
  16. My Experiment in tunneling

Date:6/13/2004 7:33:42 AM Author:BigRedFish What I man by a 'click' is one click of the mouse, using the mayor-mode raise or lower terrain tools at their default strength. If the table says '7 clicks,' that means that you'd have to click the raise/lower terrain tool 7 times on the same tile to make the necessary slope. Does that make sense? quote> It does make sense - now just get the knack of it! Thanks! cag
  17. NAM General Discussion Thread

Date:6/12/2004 4:01:46 PM Author:davidhogan quote> Dave, Those Highway signs - how did you get them in? - did I miss something? cag
  18. My Experiment in tunneling

Date:4/9/2004 11:59:50 AM Author:BigRedFish The exact depth to use is at the beginning of this thread, in CSQ's description of his original mod. Edit: No, it isn't. Darn. So, where's my cheat-sheet... here it is: Rail tunnels: 7 clicks deep Ground hwy: 9 clicks deep Road/1-way/Ave: 11 clicks deep monorail: 17 clicks deep quote> Fantastic thread - CSQ, BRF and all the others that contributed: two thumbs up! Just a question to BRF: you mention the number of clicks deep for the different networks - could you please explain what exactly you mean by that? What is to be clicked? cag
  19. BSC Ultimate Budget Tool Metropolis Bank

Not sure why you made two submissions - or do you just want the best mileage out of this idea? I'll serve you good then - give you another 10 (but cf my comment in the Suburbs lot)
  20. BSC Ultimate Budget Tool Suburbs Bank

Fantastic - getting more interactions between cities in one region makes the game more fun!! BTW: there's no "readme" apart from the site-specific ones which aren't very helpful on the overall functionality (eg what is the Honor System?) Very good lot - 10 points from me!
  21. HAVOC Barntons Butchers

Sure hope you stay on this track: more Coronation Street instead of All in the Family all of the time!! To me your underrated so I'll give you a 10.
  22. Modern Central Library

It looks fantastic! Well worth my 10!! BTW, could you give us the statistics of the lot?
  23. NAM General Discussion Thread

Date:6/12/2004 2:28:17 PM Author:raindog Tropod and all the others who worked on this mod, a BIG thanks. The result is absolutely fantastic. It took me a while before I realised what this ANT actually is. I conclude it isn't anything to use at this point but it opens a whole lot of possibilities for a new network. Btw, also a very good manual added in the file. I removed my other transitmods. Only one I left is the tunnel & sloping mod made by BigRedFish some time ago. It controls the sloping percentage of the network and gives me much smoother roads. (see highway tunnel in the pic below). quote> Raindog, What is that tunnel & sloping mod you're talking about? Where is it to be found? cag
  24. NAM General Discussion Thread

Date:6/12/2004 10:24:21 AM Author:Tropod o,k.....sorry bout having to do that. NetworkAddonMod_06.12.04.zip The above file has it all [excluding the Traffic/Automata Plugins from the main mod from the mods page]. quote> Just to make sure - does it also include the (removed) PuzzlePieces functionality?
  25. Frogface Bus Station

I like the model - especially when you put it on STEX as a rail station. Merely changing the color of the trusses from red to blue doesn't make enough difference in my view. I'm not going to rate you - just take half of the rating I gave you for the RR-station!
