The legend says that when the hero conquers the six elements of creation, only then can the coveted power of the gods be claimed. It can not be claim by just anyone, nay, only the hero who wields the sword of the royal family can approach the resting place of evil's bane. Once at the altar the sword is destined to be placed in the stone to be forever frozen in rock. However, the sword has unlocked the final barrier to reach the most powerful force in all of Hyrule; the relect left over by the goddess after the day when all was created, the Triforce. Place a an important piece of Hyrulian lore in your cities or regions. This lot needs power and water, (though the water probably won't matter) There are night lights, and therefore, if you don't power it, it won't light. There is a very hefty plop cost associated with this lot, as well as a pretty substantial monthly cost. Hey, being the proud owner of the most powerful force in video games, doesn't come without a price. If you decide to bulldoze it you will pay quite a price as well. This could be used to decorate up a large park, or to be placed out in the country. The possibilities are endless. Show me what you can do with this lot. I hope you enjoy this building. It took a day and a half to render, but I think the final product speaks for itself. Well, until my next building, enjoy. The Great Chozo- 47 Comments

This is a remake of the tall light towers we have here in Austin, called Moontowers. They were built in the 1890's to add soft light to poorly lit neighborhoods. I have created the tower on a police lot, and then altered the dimensions. The tower is a police building and function similar to the useless kiosk, its performance however is better than the kiosk. It has the same demand creation as the small police station. It has no jail cells, and no dispatch vehicles. It was designed to simply be a crime deterrent structure for wherever you place it in your city. I have tested it, and it works just fine. I am having trouble getting the plug in for BAT lights to install, so I don't have a shot of it at night. The lights from the fixtures, are visibly shining on the top parts of the tower, to give the impression that the tower is shining its light all around. Your comment are welcome, so tell me what you think. This is my first upload of any kind to the exchange, and I have one more planned to go up either today or tom. so keep your eyes open for that. After much delay I have finally finished my first building. This is the Bank One Tower that is located in Austin, Texas. It is a 22 story, 99m (315 ft.) high class A office building. This is a growable stage 7 CO$$$ building with a little more than 1200 jobs. It is growable only in the Houston building set. There are six lots included in this download: 2 3x3 2 3x4 2 4x3 I did this for lot variety when the building grows in the game. I have tested this building and there are no bugs that I am aware of. The building is fully functional, and really only grows in the Houston set. I have had no problems with the nights lights either (now that I have installed the patch). Any major questions should be directed to my BAT buildings thread. There are also more pics of the building there, should anyone be interested. IMPORTANT: There is a ReadMe file included. PLEASE read this, as it explains the difference between the six lots, and how to install them. I don't want to have to answer a question that can be answered by reading the ReadMe. I hope that everyone who downloads this building enjoys it. I think it blends in quite well with the other buildings, now that I have fixed the roof. If for some reason you are going to rate this building a one, then please don't rate it at all. The people who have helped me during this project have been thanked in the ReadMe. Enjoy!!!!! Xiziz, This looks good so far, as all of your journals have been. I have one question. I noticed you named a city Shion Cove, did you get the inspiration for that name from either Xenosage Epsiode I or II ? I have played both games, and enjoy them both very much, and thought it was cool to see Shion's name (at least that's where I think you got the inspiration from) Anyway the name doesn't matter that much, this is a good start, and I will follow this one as you update it.

Meister, This is great, I love the wanton destruction Navy Style of the Southampton Stadium. The sign you have saying he died for you, is placed in a funny spot, right next to the nuclear blast from the sub's missle, it almost looks like the sign means He died for you right here.......... Well I know what the sign means, so I won't rag on that anymore, but it was kind of funny were it was placed during the Navy's fireworks show. I also like you use of split avenues using one way roads, with an aesthetic median. Keep up the good work.

Date: 3/28/2005 9:10:40 PM Author: MayorTim Here is a little 1 pic update. You probably don't recognize this area, but this is where the ugly solar farm was located several pages back! I couldn't think of anything to do with this area, so I dug out the center of it and made a marina. It also features a high dollar appartment complex and some up-scale stores, so I called it the Corkrane Community. Comments Welcome! quote> MayorTim, this just keeps getting better and better. I don't have much to say, cause I am kind of lost in the pictures. When I find myself again, I will make sure to give you some major props for this one. BTW, what is the name of those concrete seawalls you have in the image above? I want to get them, and if you could post the name of the lot here, I can go search for them on the STEX. Thanks in advance. I'll continue to monitor this CJ. Excellent work, nay, SUPERB work.

Date: 3/28/2005 4:01:30 PM Author: i like to fish And here's probably the best looking park in the region. Well that park definately fits in the region perfectly. Not many green areas, and a whole lot of paved impervious cover. Not the kind of park I would want to go to, to sit under the trees and relax, of course if you are into feeding pigeons (rats of the sky) then this is the park for you.

Dargor, I have eagerly been awaiting the return of Santa Lucia, and I must say I am very glad you have brought it back into the light. I liked it before, and I like it after. Keep up the good work. TGC Oh here, I have a late B-day present for you ---- Take this image and edit it to your hearts content. Maybe now Katie won't be so pixelated in your avatar anymore !!!!

OK, I hope you all are ready for this, because the Highway Light Tower NOW WORK !!!!!!! A big thanks goes to Smoncrie for allowing these lights to function as I originally intended them to. Nothing about the specs of the lots have changed. They can still be found in the Landmarks menu, and all the features that were present in the old lots, are present in the new ones. Keep in mind, due to the way in which we got these lots to cast light, they need a power source. A simple power line coming from your main grid is more that enough. There are six lots total. 5 Rural Versions of the Smaller Scale Light Tower 1 Rural Version of the Larger Scale Light Tower The larger version is best suited for illuminating Elevated Cloverleafs (as seen in the picture) and the smaller versions are best suited for everything else. The in game names have been changed to help you identify the different versions, and there are brief in game descriptions of how the lot is set up and how to use them. As with every STEX download, PLEASE READ THE READ ME. I didn't type it up for nothing. And for all the people who yelled at me for not putting any info in this description box about how the previous version didn't light up, well yall can just ............ nevermind.......they work now, so get over it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unzip the files and place them in your MyDocuments/SimCity4/Plugins folder Please delete any of the old Highway Light Towers that you might have downloaded in the past, and replace them with these new versions. You don't have to use all the lots, you can use any number combination of the six total lots. It is best to install them all, try them out, and which ones you don't want, you can take out after you have tried them out. These lots will be updated very shortly, and in that update they will be made slope compatible, currently they are not. (Smoncrie gave me a slope compatible version, but I am having some trouble working with. So in the meantime I released these for yall to play with) If there are any problems with these lots, please PM either myself or Smoncrie, or post a comment in my BAT projects thread. I hope to see the nights light up in your City Journals. Have fun, and remember, don't stay awake too long playing SC4 -

The Great Chozo replied to econoline's topic in NAM & Transit Networks
Just keep the NAM a closely guarded secret, we don't want the Government finding out about it, 'cause they might classify it as an illegal narcotic (Australian Wonder Drug, for use on walkabouts) due to the excitatory effect it has on people !!!!!! Man, you gotta try this NAM, it is off the hook,........ I mean, damn.......... man, ...... you just gotta try it...... Just say no to NAM (well not really ) ahh hahahahaha I laugh at myself sometimes -

Date:11/3/2004 7:49:09 AM Author:RaccoRVA Hmm. perhaps it's time that The Great Chozo gets a little pm to beg for him back... quote> You don't have to beg, I haven't gone anywhere, I have just been incredibly busy for the past few months. A PM would be a GREAT idea (a little intended sarcasm there ). I would prefer a PM from a Leader though, like maybe Ash or someone, so I can know exactly what is going on, and what the current timetable is looking like. BTW - I am astounded at the quality of the newer buildings. They are nothing short of spectacular. Keep it up. TGC -
Date:11/4/2004 9:27:05 PM Author:Gecks_II omg omg omg... so excited.. cant wait for this.. it's rivaling the excitement you get when a new long awaited game is released.. keep at it! =Dquote> Like when a game is supposed to come out in November, and you are all ready for it, but then it gets pushed back until January, and you have to wait 2 more months...................sound familiar to anyone ***cough SC4 cough*** Kd, you have a chosen a VERY good simtropolite to work on your lights, I know you will not be dissappointed; but as far as the model goes, you have done an outstanding job. I will wait however long I need to for this building TGC
