Every journey begins with a first step...

Honolulu

Hello everyone,

As writing is not my strong point, this diary won't contain many comments, if any at all.

Many people have talent and experience in creating environments. So any advice (do's, don'ts, etc.) is most welcome.

I'd like to thank the entire SC4 community for their contributions in helping me rediscover this game, whose creative possibilities I'd never imagined.

My first steps

Many texture and MMP experiments on this tile with mixed results. May this experience benefit me for my next tile.

Nice to see you starting a CJ, yours pics in the show us what you're doing thread always made me want to see more of your work. Really love your attention to details, how you customize a large amount of things with lot editor and how realistic it turns out *:thumb:

I think I'll save these pictures and make a calendar out of them. Those rural scene really are quite something. Too bad mass tourism has already set foot on this piece of paradise, otherwise I would move there -joking, of course; the camping looks superb too.

Thank *you* for sharing your scenes! Do you happen to remember which prop pack the bright tall trees at the centre of picture 4 come from?

I think you mean these.

They're part of the JRJ Vol05 collection. Dependencies available in the invaluable and indispensable SC4D LEX Legacy - BSC Common Dependencies Pack.

Hope this helps.

Hello again @Honolulu but this time in your CJ. *;)

Congratulations on this impressive work and very realistic look you achieved. The choice of individual elements really enhances your location. It gives me an impression of a combination of several distinct geographical settings - the rural expanses of central Europe, Scottish coastal areas and Northeastern United States - all in one!

Good luck, more please! *;)

Wow!

Let me say that again:

Wow!

I was on the homepage and fell in love with the pic there so I jumped in with both feet to see the rest of your creation. It's lovely. I love farms and rural scenes and you have done them to perfection!

Such a unique entry, so many intricate little details here and there and that rocky landscape looks fantastic! Btw if you ever need a taller transmitter so that your radio waves can broadcast further I've got a few I can sell you *;)
