yep, the river is good ! I'd like overviews to get a feel for the layout of the city, though ; and I am not sure about how the railroad track is sandwiched between those two large packed earth (?) ribbons. There is a very nice and useful series of fillers by SFBT (ortho and diagonal) that feature fences and trees which perhaps you could use instead ? There is an industrial metallic version that I use for railroads (and industry, of course) and an agri version with wood fences. (A bit of palms among the trees in those lots, but you just replop and they disappear.)

Great City,  would love to have it a chicago loop like feeling with those elevated rail pieces; newyork did have those as well but something having a mid-west look would by quit a change, rail yards, industiries, a lot of suburbs and way around agricultural land, well done !
