Bordering Ten Billion Palms and Las Moras to the east, Playa Verde to the north, and Santa Barbara County to the south, Green Beach is the second most populous city in the region with 132k sims.  It hosts the annual Green City Surf Contest and the Maize Dayz Corn Festival.  Popular sites include Sabra Park - home of Green Beach Guapos baseball, the El Greco museum, Macadamia Park, Cal-State University Green Beach, SwimSim Swimming Center, and the Green City Street Market.

Like the change to diagonal layout ! Maxis highway isn´t the most pleasing to use; some slope´s in highway, road and rail could be avoided requiring some terraforming Animated pictures with free flowing traffic are a special nice feature for this CJ. wouldn´t use them extensively. Mix of residentials, services and parks very lovely done !

love the region shot. the region looks very realistic. I like the beachfront condos. not to fond of the simultation shots think it would look just as good without the traffic simulating.

Love the SoCal--esque scenes! The parks and beachfront areas are very nice. Would love to see some individual MMP people, bikes, ect. there to add even more vibrancy. The motion GIFs are really cool. I absolutely love the city-wide shots. Definitely a lush green place! Great to see an entry from you after a long hiatus buddy!

I hate to sound like One-Note Charlie, but your great- and I do mean great- city is hurting for a slope mod (and smooth road curves in a couple of places). Seriously, it's like seeing the Mona Lisa with a booger hanging out of her nose.

Yeah, haha, slope mod...without it and some other little things it really has that VANILLA charm despite having a number of custom content!  I love the GIFs.  Cool.

Thanks kschmidt.  I like the Maxis highway because it's nice and tight...real estate is expensive in my region.  Thanks for the tips

Thanks, yeah there were a lot in this entry.  I'll try to mix it up more

Haha!  Ok man, it's top of the list for my next region.  I'm going to do one or two more posts of this one though so cover your eyes for a minute.  Thanks for the tip

The other little things.  I'd say the abundance of original Maxis buildings and the road layout.  Very reminiscent of much more vanilla type cities.  And that ain't a bad thing :D.  Looks good.

I like those mosaics ! The small residentials neighbourhood (Orangewood) is a bit too griddy for me, though:-) Perhaps the squares dont have to be all the same size , and the houses all oriented the same way ?
