Just one long pic and one selected detail, click to enlarge :)

Jorgel is northwest from Betono, at the other side of the sea. Unlike Benzihor Metropolitan Area it is a natural scenic reserve. People like to visit here for the beauty and retreat from the urban life.

And this is the first time I try natural landscaping in SC4. Hoping for feedback and improvement :D

Also at last, thanks to James for comment and support! :golly:

Looks really nice! May I ask what terrain and rock mod you are using?

Thanks! Cosmic water is PEG's Brigantine water, for rock I use PEG's Limestone in their rock assortment I, and I didn't change the default grass terrain. For the ploppable water they are simply PEG PPond Kit

This is just my opinion, I noticed two things that (in my opinion) ruin the image:
1 - the squares generated by the curve, it would be better to hide them with some building, ruin the image quite a bit;
2 - the white rocks of the mountain does not combine well with the scenario (autumn, given the trees).

However I can tell that's a pretty good job ;)

Nice pictures! I actually really love the way the white cliff mod contrasts with the autumn tree colors. In my opinion, I think you should try and use some better suburban home models. The floral work is too good for those lame old MAXIS homes :P

Wow, you really hit the nail here! You've made the Maxis default terrain look nice.
On the contrary, I find the white cliffs nice to look at. However I would consider making the shoreline to river transition smoother, add some more rocks and maybe ploppable dirt?

Otherwise this is one of the best non-Paeng nature entries I have seen in quite a while. Splendid.

Yes, it's really a lovely scene. In some places, one can see the individual mouse clicks you made with that river gravel, and I think the bridge is too large. I can't imagine anyone building such a large road bridge just to reach a parking lot on the other side. I'd suggest either using a street bridge or moving the parking lot to the same side of the river and adding an eyecandy pedestrian bridge across the river, where the place formerly occupied by the parking lot could be populated with a log cabin + fireplace or similar. Just an idea, though - the pictures are really fantastic the way they are. :)

Agreed about the bridge being a bit too heavy duty but the rest looks lovely. Would be a really nice spot to own one of thoose houses me thinks.

Cheers

I like the natural work.  Great first effort.  Only suggestion is what ROFLyoshi stated about smoothing out the shore line.
