    July, Year 20

    hspace=0http://img436.imageshack.us/img436/812/myonjuly2004dy.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Just to the south of the Myon City Multi-Embassy Building a new office building is being constructed. It will be the largest building in the city in terms of floor space, and like most of the buildings around it, it will be a part of the historic district of the downtown area. The new light rail line loops around the construction site to a new station just to the east of the site.

    hspace=0http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20July%2020-1.JPG'>http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20July%2020-1.JPG align=baseline border=0>
    As you continue north along the new line you come to a new hotel that has recently opened up in the downtown area, as well as the next station. The new Doubletree Hotel is the first major hotel in the city, and it is also the 2nd tallest building in the city, slightly taller than the MRC HQ, but also slightly shorter than the West & Co, Inc. Building on the west end of town.

    hspace=0http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20July%2020-2.JPG'>http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20July%2020-2.JPG align=baseline border=0>
    As the line continues around the north side of Capital Park, 2 more stations can be found. The first one that you come across is a transfer station between the EL track that runs through the downtown area going to the north, and then shortly down the line you find the mayors own private station by his house and office.

    hspace=0http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20July%2020-3.JPG'>http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20July%2020-3.JPG align=baseline border=0>
    This new line ends near the downtown Myon City Schools, and due to the new station near the school many kids ride the train to go to school, especially the ones that live in the downtown area. Built right next door to the school is the new West & Co, Inc. Building, which has recently claimed the title as Myon's tallest Building when construction was completed last month. With all of the new office towns and apartment buildings being built, it isn't surprising that Myon City currently has around half of the total population of Myon!

    hspace=0http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20July%2020-4.JPG'>http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20July%2020-4.JPG align=baseline border=0>
    Anderson Architecture has recently got a new office on the same location of its old office, which includes 11 floors of office space with 2 floors above that where Jeff Anderson and his family now live. Daniel Dessler has also recently moved, and he now lives in the apartment near Pioneer Park Plaza that is right across the street from the Senate Building. (See next picture for better view)

    hspace=0http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20July%2020-5.JPG'>http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20July%2020-5.JPG align=baseline border=0>
    Here you can see the downtown area with all of the new buildings that are sprouting all over the city.
    List of the 5 tallest buildings on Myon
    1: West & Co, Inc. Building
    2: Downtown Myon City Doubletree Hotel
    3: Myon Robotics Corp. HQ
    4: Pioneer Park Building
    5: Myon City Multi-Embassy Building

    Wow, just one page ago the Myon City Multi-Embassy Building was the tallest, now it is the 5th tallest.

    hspace=0http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20July%2020-6.JPG'>http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20July%2020-6.JPG align=baseline border=0>
    The explorers soon get to the northern sea where they find that the Myonian Palm seeding that had taken place over 10 years ago had taken effect, with the whole area full of the palms. They drive slowly though here has there are also a lot of the hole digging creatures in the area as well. Myonian squirrels jump from tree to tree just as usual as they make there way up to Myona Canyon.

    hspace=0http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20July%2020-7.JPG'>http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20July%2020-7.JPG align=baseline border=0>
    As they continue into Myona Inlet they come across a thin strip of land between the sea and the cliff, where they find lots of small insects that fly around the ATVs and land on the windshield making it look even darker outside than it already is. They soon run into muddy areas where they sink into the ground, but they are soon back on dry land as they begin going up the canyon floor.

    hspace=0http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20July%2020-8.JPG'>http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20July%2020-8.JPG align=baseline border=0>
    As they continue along, they soon reach an area full of trees, where some of them grow to huge sizes, and just near them they find very small trees compared to the other ones they just found.  They decide to camp in the canyon forest this night, and during the night they decide that this would be the perfect place for a new town, which will surround the large tree growth and extend down to the sea, as well as out to the desert.

    Myon Map

    http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon Map.bmp
    Blue lines are for Myonways (or Motorways, whichever you prefer)
    Red lines are for Planet Routes. (Main roads that will extend through the planet, but won't be as big as the MWs)(placed here just for future plans as there currently are no PRs.)
    Green lines are for State Routes.

    Sorry for the quality and the size, but Imageshack was very slow and imgcity doesn't like .png's for some reason.

    1.you would use a space port not a sea port to export to another planet.
    2.and new Chicago has been dead for some time now.
    leech10 did i get that right?

    January Year 21

    Warning, many pictures follow.

    hspace=0http://img391.imageshack.us/img391/7712/myonseptember2004hl.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    The Myon City-Amiton rail loop has finally been finished, and the east Amiton rail junction has been added. It is located just to the north of the Myon Dam area, where Amiton will expand to as it grows.

    hspace=0http://img391.imageshack.us/img391/8542/myonseptember2014ke.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    On the west end is the roundhouse built for storing the trains that come and stop at the station.

    hspace=0http://img391.imageshack.us/img391/6471/myonseptember2020ck.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Here are the freight unloading areas at the station, and also in this area is several factory buildings that prepare some of the supplies that will be then sent to other places either by truck, or back onto the rail again.

    hspace=0http://img391.imageshack.us/img391/3241/myonseptember2033iw.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Farther down the line are the rest of the freight centers, as well as the remaining factories and storage centers for the rail line.

    hspace=0http://img391.imageshack.us/img391/345/myonseptember2048xo.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    While we were away, there was lots of development in Myon City, where the addition of a new route to downtown off of M1. This new route was built to relieve the congestion on SR 78, which used to be the only road link between the downtown area and the rest of the city, along with the rail line.

    hspace=0http://img391.imageshack.us/img391/1908/myonseptember2050hj.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    After going through a tunnel under some of the higher wealth area of the suburbs, it comes back up again where it goes by a new commercial area before going up onto the levee.

    hspace=0http://img391.imageshack.us/img391/9014/myonseptember2063bi.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    On the other side of the river it meets the waterfront road, and then continues on to intersect the existing avenue in the city. The roadways were the fist things to be completed, and then the rest of the surroundings will be finished afterwards.

    hspace=0http://img391.imageshack.us/img391/2151/myonseptember2074qp.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Once the new route gets into the city, it splits into 2 one way streets that connect with the existing one way street network in the downtown area. While several new buildings have been built in the downtown area, none so far have made it into the top 5 tallest buildings on the planet.

    hspace=0http://img397.imageshack.us/img397/893/myonseptember2084ti.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    The building that was previously seen under construction has now been finished, and while it is a large building in terms of floor space, it doesn't reach the height of the Myon Multi-Embassy Building by around 10 meters.

    hspace=0http://img397.imageshack.us/img397/6492/myonseptember2099pz.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    M2 has recently linked the towns of Thulan and Obie, and at the center point between the 2 towns lies the city of Sulnuka, the largest city on the planet with a population of around 120,000. (mostly zukes) On the west end of the city is the farming and hunting areas, where some of the food comes from, and the rest comes from the forests surrounding the city.

    hspace=0http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/5393/myonseptember20952oy.jpg align=baseline border=0>

    hspace=0http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/2662/myonseptember20100cn.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Other than its size, what makes this zuke city unique is that most of the streets are paved, which only occurs in a few other zuke cities on the planet. This area on the south side of Sulnuka, does not have the paved streets common to the city, as it is one of the poorer areas of the city, and the zukes here make a living fishing on the lake around the city.

    hspace=0http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/1849/myonseptember20116nl.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Here is one of the parts of the city where the new housing developments are more like the ones in the human cities, and some people do live in this area, but most of it is zuke homes.

    hspace=0http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/5247/myonseptember20129ga.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Another part of the city has zuke homes like the rest of the zuke communities, but here they are squeezed together in the street network with few open areas like what are found in the other cities.

    hspace=0http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/7425/myonseptember20132ku.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    At the heart of the city is a large sector full of old zuke buildings, some of which are over 2000 years old, yet they still are in good condition, and all of these buildings are used in some way. Open areas between the buildings allow air to flow freely through the city, as well as allow the zukes to relax outside.

    hspace=0http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/3265/myonseptember20140ma.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    As the explorers begin the last part of the exploration, they wonder if they will ever find the aliens that visited during the time of the Uptasaunt war and shortly after, as ever since the mass UFO sightings, there was no trace of anything unusual anywhere in the country. They soon make their way across the Myon River, and as they continue along, they pass the end of the Myonian palm spread, where they soon head out into the noisy jungle.

    hspace=0http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/8566/myonseptember20150qq.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    After they cross the mouth of the Tramyo River, they come up on the small zuke town of Calunuke, where they stop and rest for awhile. While they are there they find out that there is something in the water here that they say steals the fish that they catch as they bring them back to the dock, leaving the zukes with nothing but an empty net. This thing has never broken the fishing nets, so the zukes are puzzled at how it is able to get the fish and then get away unseen.

    hspace=0http://img313.imageshack.us/img313/4660/myonseptember20169fd.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    After they finished talking, they headed down the road leading to the south, and then they drove right off the road back into the forest as they continued to the east. the Myonian squirrels jumped around them like usual, and soon they even began landing on the ATVs to get a free ride.

    hspace=0http://img313.imageshack.us/img313/9279/myonseptember20177gd.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    They soon come across a short tree that grows along the coastline, where it sometimes spreads well out into the water. They call it a mangrove tree, and afterwards, they follow the mangrove trees farther to the southeast.

    hspace=0http://img313.imageshack.us/img313/5863/myonseptember20183xc.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    They soon end up in a place where a whole bunch of different trees grown all over the place, including cypresses, Myonian palms, mangroves, and numerous other tree species. They now know that they have made it to the Melime Swamp area, and now they head back on the Tramyo River back to the volcano observatory and then by road back to Myon City.

    Comments:

    pipishere: Thanks for the comment!

    warll: Myon exports Myonian Palms and titanium to New Auckland, that is currently it.

    Marvin: Glad you like it!

    Bo_almighty: Like warll said, New Chicago is dead so nothing is exported to it.

    warll: 1 Yes, you would use a spaceport to move stuff between planets, and Myon does have one, but it also is building a seaport on Galaenther Island on the planet of Terra, as well as another spaceport to move supplies between the 2 parts of the country of Myon.
               2 Yes, a volcano blew it up, so it is dead.

    sloppet: Thank you for the comment!

    CM: I'm glad you like it!

    SC4 meister: There are pictures of the creatures, just look closely at the pictures where they are talked about. Small creatures like the squirrels and the various bugs are not shown as they are too small to show up, or are hidden under the trees. There is also the dissection of the fish picture awhile back.

    Leech Labs: Where weird stuff is made. Your results may vary.

    Im so sorry I havnt been here for a while, the last few updates hae been amazing!
    Myon City is looking very nice, the modern and older archetecture contrast nicely, and Myonian touches like the palms and zuke houses really make this a fantastic and unique CJ.
    Speaking of which(sort of) where did you get that long GLR station in the 3rd pic of the year 20 update?34.gif

    Located in the Galaenther Seaport area is the newly completed Galaenther Submarine Base, which is currently home to 3 submarines, and a 4th one that is currently under construction. There is room for a total of 6 submarines, but it is unknown if they will stop at 4 for now, or continue until all 6 spaces are filled.

    nedal2001: Thanks for the comment!

    Goldfish4209: There is currently no limit on how many people that can join, but try not to make last minute adjustments to the details, especially not when I am trying to make an update. There are way too many things that I use to list here, otherwise the list would be much longer than the update, and I don't remember what half the stuff I have is, or where it came from.

    Bo_almighty: There always was development north of Amiton, as Amiton is about as far south as you can go other than Three Rivers City. (excluding Thulan and Obie which are on a different part of the planet)

    Marvin: I'm glad you like it!

    SC4 meister: Thank you for the comment!

    pipishere: Glad you like it!

    Exhagaga: I'm glad you like it,  but I have no idea where i got the GLR station, but you might find it if you search for GLR on the STEX.

    July, Year 21

    hspace=0http://img482.imageshack.us/img482/7548/myonjuly2108fe.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Another exploration group has set out, this time to the south of Amiton, but it isn't Bruce. Bruce and the other people that recently explored the northern areas are still going over what they have found, and also working out what they will do next. This time it is James Martin's group that is doing the exploring, and they are going to another canyon that has been recently found by Myon-1 as it orbits the planet. They take the main road (actually the only road) around Amiton Lake into the farming area, and continue past the rest of the roads there. Like all of the recent explorations, they will take some ATVs so they can cover more ground at a time.

    hspace=0http://img482.imageshack.us/img482/8733/myonjuly2110qh.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    They soon come to the end of the farming area, and they reach the smaller road that the robots had been building soon after this exploration had been planned. Unlike the previous exploration using a trail building robot, this time the road they will be following is actually paved.

    hspace=0http://img461.imageshack.us/img461/1417/myonjuly2129zn.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    They continue along the path near the edge of Amiton Mountains as it goes to the south, and as the drive on, someone sees something moving out of the corner of their eye. As the rest look in the direction that the person is pointing in, they see a small shape moving quickly across the sand, before disappearing from view behind a sand dune. From the distance of the sand dune they were able to find out how far away the creature was, and they could then estimate the speed of it as it ran along. After some calculations, they discovered that it was running at around 90MPH (145kph)

    hspace=0http://img461.imageshack.us/img461/9845/myonjuly2136jq.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    As they get closer to the canyon, the mountains also begin extending out into the desert, bringing in cooler air, causing several of the explorers to shiver from the cold west winds that are now blowing in off of the mountains. Once they roll the windows up they continue on, and then once of the explorers sees the canyon in the distance as they drive along.

    hspace=0http://img465.imageshack.us/img465/4078/myonjuly2147gn.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    They soon reach the road leading them down into the canyon, and they soon stop to look at where the canyon goes off to the west, and when they look closer at it, they notice something unexpected.

    hspace=0http://img465.imageshack.us/img465/7632/myonjuly2159lj.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    While the pictures of the canyon from space showed that the Amiton Mountains continued through the area and 2 canyons spread outwards on either side of the mountains, here they can see a thick wall of fog, not the ice covered mountains that were seen in the Myon-1 pictures. Thinking that the canyons could meet in the center and provide and easy link to the west side, the continue on down into the canyon to the fog.
    To be continued...

    hspace=0http://img465.imageshack.us/img465/9850/myonjuly2166yd.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Back in Myon City the construction of the Lewis LLC Building has been completed, making it the 5th tallest building in the city, knocking the Multi-Embassy Building off of the list.

    hspace=0http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/9226/myonjuly2171nl.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    However, the Lewis LLC Building was also was knocked off of the top 5 tallest (non zuke) buildings on the planet only a few days later when the Ham LLC Building was completed on the other side of town. The Ham LLC Building is now the tallest building in Myon City.

    Here you can see the full view of Sulnuka, where Myon's actual tallest building is located at. (It's the brownish reddish one about right in the center of the picture.)

    Just an random picture of downtown Sulnuka, the building on the right is Myon's Tallest Building.

    Comments:

    Goldfish4209: I do not use the My Sims at all, so you could have chosen anywhere for your character to live and work. Amiton actually only has 1 character in it, (Gina Prenger, head of the space stuff), most are in Myon City.

    pipishere: Thanks for the comment!

    Marvin: Glad you like it!

    Leech Labs: Where weird stuff is made. Your results may vary.

    Wow, that's amazing. How did you get the skyscrapers in a small city? Did you use lots of ploppable RCI? Did you incorporate some cities just to puild the roads and stuff?

    September, Year 21

    As Myon City continues to expand, houses and shops have been built on the western end of the Garcer River area, where the river comes out of the Garcer Canyon. This area is planned to have lots of open areas with parks and grasslands surrounding the buildings, with a large central park.

    hspace=0http://img350.imageshack.us/img350/9619/myonseptember2114fn.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    The explores continue to the bottom of the canyon, where the find more of the hole digging creatures in the area, as well as several large moths that fly out of a tree as the walk by, before flying into the leaves of another tree. As the continue in, they find numerous puddles on the ground, where in some places there are so many it seems like a small lake has formed.

    hspace=0http://img446.imageshack.us/img446/5843/myonseptember2129sv.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    As they continue up into the mountains it gets cooler and wetter, and more of the large moths fly by at random, sometimes blocking out the sun. They are now in the Amiton Mountains, but it is much different that the rest of the Amiton Mountains that are known.

    They soon reach the end of the river where the wall of fog begins, and they begin heading up the steep hill into the heart of the mountains.

    hspace=0http://img446.imageshack.us/img446/6381/myonseptember2146um.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    At the top they reach an area with few trees and thick fog, from what they can see it seems that this area stays cold all the time, which, along with the rocky ground, causes only a few trees to be able to grow.

    hspace=0http://img446.imageshack.us/img446/4599/myonseptember2159tp.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    As the reach the other side of the flat area, they look down the hill and they can see the river that comes from the other side of the mountains, and they can also see that it may be possible to link the 2 rivers together to allow for better trade with the zukes to the west.

    Myon News

    An unknown disturbance has been detected over Three Rivers City, causing compasses to spin wildly, and adding static to all forms of communication in the area. People are advised to stay inside during the night, especially between 11PM and 4AM when the disturbances are the strongest. The times between 10AM and 5PM have had no reported disturbances, and between the times of minimum and maximum activity only some disturbances have been reported. The disturbance is only been located in Three Rivers City, nearby towns like Wenton and Bulnaruke as unaffected as of now. To others: please let anyone visiting 3 Rivers City know about this so they can plan accordingly.

    Goldfish4209: Most of the buildings are plops, but the residential ones did grow. (except for a few) Yes, I incorporate cities to build the roads and stuff, how else would I do it?

    Marvin: I'm glad you like it!

    Leech Labs: Where weird stuff is made. Your results may vary.
