    After heading west on M3, you soon come to the area where the small zuke village of Yanar was located at, and when you get close to it, you will find a new bridge extending to the south side of the Yanar River, where the road turns and goes in the direction of where Yanar is located at.

    hspace=0http://img449.imageshack.us/img449/5637/myonmyon2411lr.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Once you reach the town, it becomes obvious that it is nothing like what it used to be only a few years ago. It has grown down to the river, as well as far inland as well, due to the discovery of a large smooth valley extending far to the south and west allowing for easy construction unlike the surrounding mountains. Yanar is currently the most advanced of all the zuke cities, (ignoring Glump and Granur) and is also one of the fastest growing ones as well

    hspace=0http://img449.imageshack.us/img449/9041/myonmyon2425fn.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    On the north side is the local waterfront commercial areas where many different shops and offices can be found.

    hspace=0http://img449.imageshack.us/img449/1239/myonmyon2434co.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Slightly farther inland the local resort hotel can be found, where the upper floors have a great view overlooking the river and the surrounding mountains.

    hspace=0http://img449.imageshack.us/img449/8250/myonmyon2449xx.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    In the center of Yanar is the local school, as well as a Wendy's that is located right across the street.

    hspace=0http://img449.imageshack.us/img449/6791/myonmyon2451qv.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Located just to the south of the city on top of one of the higher mountains is the Yanar Power Station, where 25 wind turbines provide power for the entire city, as well as the surrounding area.

    Strange Occurrence Recorded by AF-6

    4 days ago a highly unusual chain of events was recorded by the pilot Dan Wyen as he flew over the Melemon Ocean to the south of the coastal island chain several miles off of the coast. He was flying west at around 450MPH at an altitude of 10,000 feet over the Yanar River Delta, and when he was getting ready to turn back, he saw an unidentified object on the radar screen. He radioed in to the control center that he was going to check out this object, and after getting a response acknowledging that, he turned out over the ocean.

    After accelerating to around 650MPH he soon saw something off in the distance, but couldn't make out what it was from that distance. As he got closer, the object continued to move away, just staying within his field of vision. After around 10 minutes of this the object began to turn to the north, where it suddenly vanished from the radar, and when he looked out to where it was in the sky, it had disappeared from view.

    He was beginning to turn the plane around to go back to base when he noticed the object had reappeared on the radar screen, and it began to fly at great speed to the north, and soon disappeared out of the radars range somewhere over the island chain. As the object sped off, a thin haze enveloped the plane and the surrounding ocean that soon thickened, making it hard to see anything outside the plane, and the sun vanished behind the growing fog cloud.

    Around 5 minutes of flying blindly through the fog he soon flew back over land, and just as quickly as it had come, the fog disappeared and he saw no sign of it behind him as he flew back.

    Hey Leech10,

    Great work my friend! 44.gif

    But I really really want those ships! Where did you get them? *grin*

    Love your warp storyline - Dominea has some space-faring ships as well - but we do not have ftl travel as yet...

    Cheers! 35.gif

    Leech, I love this CJ. You have great in game and building ability, and your story telling is fantastic. The two key components of a CJ, if you ask me. I'm sure I'm one of your many avid lurkers, but I felt I must atleast let you know how much I love your work.

    Really nice work! Your cities are very nicely designed, and that camping ground looks absolutely fantastic! Very nicely intergrated into the city, the trees look great and so do the suburbs! That particular shot with the zig zag road and the posh houses is possibly one of the best I've seen in a long time! 9.gif Keep up the great work, catchya leech! 2.gif

    September, Year 24

    hspace=0http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/5539/myonseptember2408xj.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    An exploration team has just left Calunuke on the battleship B01O to explore the Gulf of Granur area to see what can be found in the area. After heading southeast along the coast they soon come to 2 large islands just to the east of the Melime River known as the Zuke Islands.

    hspace=0http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/6333/myonseptember2411wg.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    They dock at a small zuke town on the east coast of the larger of the 2 islands and take a break for a few hours, and looked around the town to see what they can see there. After walking around the docks they decide it is time to go and they head back to the ship to head off to their main target, the west side of Granur.

    hspace=0http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/1861/myonseptember2422xw.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    They continue to the east to get a good look at the north side of the 2nd island, and then they begin to turn around and head back to the west towards Granur.

    hspace=0http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/2439/myonseptember2431pm.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Along the way they go by the other side of the big island, and as they went by some of the people say they saw a flash of light in the trees, but when they told the others they said it was just a reflection off of something and it wasn't of any importance to them.

    As night fell on the water, most of the crew went to bed, but a small group decided to go out and watch the sky to see what they could see o the clear night. They looked at all they stars that filled the sky, and later they saw a reddish cloud as it came up over the horizon, but it took them a few minutes to figure out that the cloud they saw is actually the dust cloud surrounding the planet Sepranto that Primero Warp discovered. As they continued to watch they saw a bright orangey star to the west, and quickly figured out that it was Stella Nueva, the closest star to the Anacata System where the space probe DSS now resides as it has long since died and hasn't sent back any transmissions in a few years.

    At around 11:30PM as it began to get colder out, they decided to go back inside to go to bed, when something caught their attention. A small white light they had thought was a star was actually moving, and as it got brighter it seemed to move faster. It moved about halfway across the sky before it slowly came to a halt to the north of the ship. They at first thought it was the satellite Myon-1 orbiting the planet, but they knew it couldn't have been that when it stopped moving. They began taking pictures of the strange light, and about 20 seconds later an odd, swirling cloud had appeared under the light, and it continued to slowly grow and swirl as they watched. After a minute or 2 of the cloud growing they light started to move again, this time straight down and it disappeared behind the cloud and didn't reappear. The cloud soon began to disintegrate, and only about half a minute later, it was gone. They went back in the ship at this point and asked the crew if they had saw anything, and they said no, and there was nothing interesting on the radar screen either. They wondered what it was that they saw, but soon went to sleep in their cabins.

    hspace=0http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/4845/myonseptember2446ua.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    The next morning they arrived at the northwestern part of East Granur, where the Amiton Desert spreads into. There was a major temperature difference between here and the Zuke Islands, it was around 78F at the Zuke Islands, but now as they had gone much farther north to about the same distance north as the Island of Glump, the temperature had dropped to around 46F. The trees were bare, which most of the crew hadn't seen in many years since they had came to Myon.

    New Poll

    What should the exploration team do next?

    1: Get off the ship, as they should explore these forests that they have found
    2: Stay on the ship, they should just explore the coastal waterways in this area
    3: Stay on the ship, they should head north to the main part of Granur and explore there.

    November Year 24

    hspace=0http://img417.imageshack.us/img417/9907/myonnovember2400pk.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    A large group of explorers including Bruce Stanton and James Martin got off of the ship and entered the forest at the small extension near where they had first stopped at last morning. They continued into the forest and they at first discovered that there wasn't very many trees in this area, just enough to have created 50% shade if the trees had their leaves at the time. Several small creatures darted off into the trees at their approach, but other than that, all was quiet.

    hspace=0http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20November%2024-1.JPG align=baseline border=0>
    As they go in deeper the trees get thicker, and they begin to see more animal life, including large bugs shaped like frying pans with legs and a handle-like head that can be found sucking sap out of the trees, several furry fluffballs that were found in the branches of the trees that make soft humming sounds, and an 8 foot long legless creature that slowly inched its way across the ground like a caterpillar before suddenly lifting its head into the trees and eating one of the frying pan bugs and then slowly moved away from the explorers.

    hspace=0http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20November%2024-2.JPG align=baseline border=0>
    They soon find a zuke road much like the others that they have found, and they follow it to the south to a tunnel into the mountains, but a fallen tree blocks the entrance so they have to turn around and head north to get anywhere on the road. As they continue on they find numerous small pebble-shaped bugs that crawl around in a big pile and like to wedge themselves into small cracks in rocks as well as in tree-holes, possible to escape the 42F temperatures that are here right now.

    hspace=0http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20November%2024-3.JPG align=baseline border=0>
    The path soon turns to the west, and as they continue they see more of the bugs but no new creatures, when suddenly a loud eerie sound fills the air off in the distance, sounding like the moaning of some large creature.

    hspace=0http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20November%2024-4.JPG align=baseline border=0>
    As they continue they go into a valley they hear the sounds again, and this time they see something large moving in the trees and it doesn't look very happy to see them there. One of the explorers gets a gun out and fires several times at the object, where they soon here a loud roar and then here whatever it is start running away deeper into the forest. They continue on slower now not knowing what they will find, and soon come to a series of turns that leads them deeper into the valley.

    hspace=0http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20November%2024-5.JPG align=baseline border=0>
    They soon come to the entrance to another tunnel, and this time they can go inside,  and after entering they are relieved to feel much warmer temperatures than what it is outside. they soon come to a small room at the end of the tunnel, and they enter the room.

    To be continued...

    March, Year 25

    Just a smaller update of Myon City, continuation of the exploration story will be soon.

    hspace=0http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/8284/myonmarch2505xp.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Several new apartment complexes have gone up in the northwest part of the downtown area, as well as several townhouses that fill the areas too small for the bigger apartments to fit in. There is also talk of extending the light-rail line farther to the south through the parking lot between the brown stone building and the white building to the west (down) of it and have the line continue back around into the main downtown area before ending.

    hspace=0http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/4687/myonmarch2517ut.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Meanwhile, just to the east of there in the downtown area several new high-rises have been built by the Ham LLC building, including the Wagner Hotel, (darker stone building with the green roof), the Simon Manor, (lighter stone building next to the Wagner Hotel with the parking lot), and the new 2nd tallest building in Myon, the Wren Insurance Building.(The tall one)

    hspace=0http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/1378/myonmarch2524ap.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    As the new skyscrapers were built on the site of the old school, a new school had to be built in the downtown area, and here it is. It is the Myon City Central HS/MS, and it has a wide range of classes and activities ranging from computer programming, CAD, construction, cheerleading, band, basketball, football, and soccer. The basketball stadium is the building with the arched roof to the right of the school, and the main stadium can be seen at the bottom of the picture. It can be changed from soccer to football (American) relatively quickly by replacing the goals with a football goalpost, and by the addition of nets to keep the footballs from going into the stands and a repainting of the lines.

    hspace=0http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/9306/myonmarch2531wo.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    There has also been a renovation of the parking areas for the government buildings where more parking spaces were added, and trees were planted along the paths to provide shade for the workers.

    April, Year 25

    The first thing the explorers notice is that the room isn't as small as it seemed from the outside, and it really was relatively large, only it extended mostly to the south of the entrance. The floor coming from the entrance was sunken, and it formed a path around the corner into the room, before going down yet another tunnel going back the same direction that it had come from. They also saw 6 wooden doors along the west (back) wall, and on a closer examination it seems that they had been well cared for, and showed little signs of damage or decay even though the area had clearly not been visited in a while, as a coating of dust had covered everything else in the room.

    The room they were in seemed to be only an entranceway off of the tunnel to something else, and the tunnel they had come out of seemed to be part of a highway of some sort used by the zukes that lived in this area. They decided to enter one of the doors that were along the back wall, and what they found within shocked them. A long tunnel curved outwards as they went along it, and around 30 more doors were laid out in an even spacing all the way down the tunnel to a single door at the end. All the doors they checked on this tunnel opened into what appeared to be small homes, each empty of items except for dust. The next 2 doors lead to about the same thing, and then when they opened the 4th door, a long tunnel with only a single door was found. They continued to the door, and when they opened it, they found  what appeared to be a large factory carved out of the rock, with numerous storage areas, some with piles of unrecognizable stuff in them, several metal pieces that seemed to come off of a conveyor belt, and numerous places where something big had obviously been located at.

    They continued to the 5th door, and this time it was similar to the 1st 3, only this time the rooms that were found seemed to be shop-like, where several had stone counters in them and a couple had what appeared to be a large restroom area in the back. Not knowing what to expect, they went back to the entrance room and opened the 6th door, but all they saw was a short tunnel with another door at the end. They were surprised to see that when they opened this door, they saw an elaborately decorated room with gold and silver designs, some of which were shaped into odd markings that continually repeated themselves as they went around the room. At the back they found the only patch of regular rock in the room, and into it was inscribed a strange message, written in the same strange symbols

    hspace=0http://img457.imageshack.us/img457/4051/myonapril2503si.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Picture of the message that was found

    Not knowing if anyone would come back to this place later on, they left it the same way they found it, except for taking several small objects that they had found in the various rooms. They continued out the other tunnel to the northwest, and began to go uphill towards a distant light.

    hspace=0http://img457.imageshack.us/img457/9987/myonapril2516li.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    They came out into a similar forested area, only this time they could see the water out in the distance, and the path continued down the mountainside towards the water.

    hspace=0http://img457.imageshack.us/img457/8752/myonapril2526ym.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    They soon came to what appeared to either be a bridge that has fallen apart, of some sort of place where a boat could dock to load or unload stuff, and here they got out their inflatable raft to continue their journey to a small island just off the coast of the mainland. As they slowly made their way towards the open sea the waves got bigger and began to give them a rough ride, but they were able to soon go out into the open sea around the island, and they slowly made their way around it looking for a suitable landing site.

    hspace=0http://img457.imageshack.us/img457/9964/myonapril2538qp.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    They soon found it at another bridge-like wooden platform at about the same height up as the fist one they found, and when they got up on land they found another path leading up to the top of the island.

    hspace=0http://img457.imageshack.us/img457/867/myonapril2542ql.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    At the top they found a small town with several homes built very similarly to the zuke homes of the areas to the west of Myon, and like those other homes were when they were found, these homes were abandon, but unlike the other homes, there was no sign that the inhabitants had left quickly, as everything inside the homes had disappeared, and there was no sign of anything being left behind except several logs and other pieces of wood laid out in various places.

    hspace=0http://img457.imageshack.us/img457/2931/myonapril2557yd.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    They continued down to the north of the island and came across a small pond as well as what appeared to be a logging area, but the only thing they found here were more logs scattered about with no trace of anything more interesting.

    hspace=0http://img457.imageshack.us/img457/3306/myonapril2561af.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    After going to the observation tower at the very top of the island, they got a good look at another island just to the northwest, and also radioed their ship to come and pick them up as they had explored the area around here enough and nothing else seemed to be turning up around this area. After a short wait as the ship came to them, they were back in their inflatable raft and they rowed out to the ship and got on again.

    New Poll

    What should the explorers do next?

    1: Explore the waterways to the west of where they are at now
    2: Explore to the north
    3: Explore the area to the south and then go back to base.

    The explorers will go north.

    June, Year 25

    hspace=0http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20June%2025-0.JPG align=baseline border=0>
    Development is spreading to the north along Myon Lake in Myon City with several large waterfront apartments and offices being built.

    hspace=0http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20June%2025-1.JPG align=baseline border=0>
    Just to the north of downtown there is more development, with several new skyscrapers that have popped up in the past few months. Townhouses have also been built in this area, along with several medium sized apartment complexes.

    hspace=0http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Myon%20June%2025-2.JPG align=baseline border=0>
    One of the new skyscrapers, AMV Plaza, is now the 4th tallest building in Myon, and the other new skyscrapers in the area come close to making the list, but they are just not tall enough.

    The MC Games company has moved into its new HQ near the el-rail tracks on the north side of town, which is located halfway between the waterfront buildings and the skyscrapers that I just showed you.

    Back on the west side of the north part of downtown is the large group of rowhouses, built to fill the area with as many good quality homes as possible without it being too expensive to build. Several larger buildings have popped up in this area, but it has been kept to a minimum in this corner of town.

    Continuation of the exploring

    As the explorers began to head north towards the upper part of Granur, the temperature drops to around 5F, and a snowstorm blows in from the north, quickly enveloping the ship in a whirling cloud of snow. They slow down to avoid running into something, and they continue to the north.

    At around 4 in the morning they come up on some islands, and here they stop so they wont hit any of them, and wait for the storm to end. They see that there are several islands all around the ship, but due to all the snow and the lack of light they are unable to see any details of the islands.

    The next morning when the storm blows off they see that the islands are somewhat mountainous and are covered with pine trees along with snow, and that there are many more islands off in the distance all around, and the only open area is the way they came in, and directly in front of them.

    Just up ahead they take a closer look at one of the islands, and they find no animals in the area, just snow and trees. They decide to slowly move on ahead to see what they can find.

    To be continued...
