I'm not sure if I'm going crazy or anything, but I remember the banner going grey once when I joined about a year ago. I never said anything since I was a big time lurker, but it was a little strange. I think it was before the ST hack that it changes too. Maybe it's a seasonal thing?

I don't know why but I haven't been able to use the home page or the stex for two weeks, Has any one else had this problem. It's not the blue box thing, It just freezes.

Something unrelated to the forum banner:

Is it at all possible to change the post settings so that if you accidentally enter the STEX or leave the forums it doesn't clear all the unread posts for you?

It's a little annoying if I hit the STEX button and I go back only to find the unread post icons have all been replaced with "no new post" icons.

I still have no acess to the stex or the homepage, even the lex, my fallback won't work for me. I use Explorer. I just want some answers and some help. Please. I haven't been able to get on the stex or the simtropolis homepage since last month. So far my posts have been looked over, mostly due to the greyscale banner thing we had. I'm asking someone to help me get to the bottom of this. I know it's not a problem with my computer, I've rebooted the whole thing since I first couldn't get on the stex but as you can tell from my complaint, it didn't work

So, uhh.... anyone lose this? That window has been coming up (about 4-7 times each time) whenever I search for a while now. But now it isn't coming up all the time, but that results page is. Tried several ways around it and I keep getting that. Just started last night. Thought I'd let someone know.

I am having some trouble using the search, sometimes when i enter a keyword, a page then somes up with codes for ColdFusion. What are the codes for and do i need ColdFusion on my PC?

Here's something you may not know about: That blue error window appears whenever you try to post news on the homepage.

I've also noticed that the site has become somewhat faster during the past week. Is that thanks to your repair jobs? If yes, than thank you!

Perhaps it's just me, but there seems to be a problem with [this post by Vandy] in the Songwriters, Writers and Poets thread.  There have been posts made after it, but they can't be seen after this...and notice the strange way the reply box is attatched to end of the post.  Also, you can't see it, but the Simtropolis signature is at the bottom next to the Candian Flag, hidden by the white field (because it's in white font).

So...is anyone else seeing this, or is it just me?

I believe the STEX search is down.  The STEX itself is up, but the search feature doesn't work, at least for me.  I get an error message every time I enter anything into the STEX search box.

I was just about to start a new thread with my own particular problem or question, when I had the thought.... "Maybe someone would answer me if i post here instead?" So im trying it out for this case.

Broken:  SimTropolis Subscription Emails

I no longer recieve any emails from simtropolis for when people post to my subscribed threads. I verified my threads are still subscribed and people are posting to them. I verified my email address. I verified that the emails are not in my spam filter (junk mail folder). It used to work, but seems to have quit some time between now and the last major hack which caused the blue backgrounds on the STEX.

Can anyone give some insight to this? Thanks.

The chat box is currently stuck with the same members, and some of the STEX files don't seem to be upating correctly.
