Yes, absolutely. The way they work is by making the connection bidirectional, which tricks the game into allowing car traffic. The paths for "wrong way" traffic are far underground so they aren't really visible. The only real side-effect that comes about from this is "spider car syndrome" , in which you may sometimes see vehicles driving down the edge of your city tile. (OT: Heh . . . Spider Car Syndrome. Might I be more specific... When Disk 2 has completed a majority of it's contents. This installation dialog box closes suddnely, and the Splash Screen doesn't display. Nor does the splash screen display when I select the game from the hard disk. When the installation dialog closes; I open Task Manager to check what's happening with the SimCity installation, and nothing is present!

This has been happening for a while now. I am installing SimCity 4 on a computer, and I goes through both disks. When it comes to the second disk, I am lead to believe that I am ment to be prompt to return the first disk to the machine to finalise the install, and launch the game. This never happens and the installer crashes. Thinking that the install has finished, i insert the first disk, run the game. an the game will not even load. I choose to run the game through the "Run As..." option and select "Protect my computer and data from unauthorized program activity". Select OK, and am prompted with the following: Title: "Error: CreateDirectory(C:\DOCUME~1\[username]\LOCALS~1\Temp\) Description: "Cannot create a file when that file already exists." So I clear out my Temp folder, and the problem reoccures! How do I fix this.....

I have installed SC4 for Mac onto my MacBook Pro, and I am noticing a heap of problems. I also have a copy of the Windows version, but I find it frustrating just to reboot everytime I want to play (for performance reasons) and it would be even more frustrating that I would have to download the plug-ins again for the Windows version, and put it on the PC (I haven't tried running SC4 in VMware Fusion, if anyone has tried it, please tell me, what was it like?!) When I load SC4 and zoom to the lowest level, the road, zoning and cell pointer texture (white box) become mucked up. I have the latest patch, and my MBP is new (but not the newest model now) running with nVidia GeForce 9400 + 9600 graphics @ 256MB VRAM. Building Draw Speed is set to any stage, and it is very sluggish. HOW CAN I CURB THIS GRAPHICAL PROBLEM!!

I love the idea of having Ped Malls in our SimCity games, but I have been creating town lately and would like to request ped malls that have zebra crossings. See below. It may be perfect for small towns. Also i would request ped malls the T intercent with a street/road/avenue/etc for ped to walk onto without the need for a bus EDIT: To be honest, I found one on the STEX, https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=3861 I definatly need sto be apart of the next NAM asap.

As I am laying out am farming towns and distics, the building always start off as a 1x1 tile building and the rest is either fields of trees or grains. Over time, I would start to expect the buildings to change and become bigger with grain mills, etc. But they don't. They always stay the same. Maybe i'm too impatient. Would this be my error. PS. What farming mod changes the look of the patures to be more realistic?
