"Oh, and nearly everything about that game was nasty. The announcers, the refs, even the halftime show. It's like everyone was on the Colts' $^@# the entire game. I'm so glad the Pats won to shut them up. "

by this point i don't listen to that crap. the best is always the most criticised because everyone is trying to take us down. even the colts fan in my class still insults the pats after yesterday.when you root for the celts, sox, and pats (and maybe even eagles), you get used to it.

Remember how i used to get all riled up by anti pats comments earlier this year? now i just ignore it.

Im not kidding about this

The headline of the sports section Ft Worth Startlegram ( Star Telegram)

Good Defeats Eagle  45.gif

With a big picture of T.O. below it.

BTW who else thought that  the studio "going green" was a total waste of every ones time?

Big deal they turned off a few lights in the Studio how much power did they use punching a signal from the remote broadcasts from greenland and antartica? or all the lights they used to lite up the reporter and the heaters and vehicles to get all the remote brodcasting equipment to those places? waste of effort. they should be fined for that waste.

Titans over Jags- tough choice...but isnt it this way for every titan game

Eagles over Redskins

Ravens over Bengals

lions over Cardinals

Cowboys over Giants- actually i wouldnt be suprised if the giants won..annoying that we are playing so good but our lead is unsafe

Sim Shady, I agree with most of your picks but I see a few more upsets possible this week. I go with Dolphins over Bills, Vikings upset the Pack, I think the Colts have no problem with the Bolts and Oakland over the Bears. All other games I will pick the same as you.

Looks like I can get my picks in here before gametime. Taking a few gambles this week...you'll see

Panthers over Falcons (although Panthers look horrible)

Chiefs over Broncos

Vikings over Packers (depends on which Vikings team shows up)

Bills over Dolphins

Saints over Rams

Steelers over Browns

Titans over Jags (I changed it back and forth about 80 times)

Redskins over Eagles

Lions over Cards

Cowboys over Giants (also changed about 40 times)

Raiders over Bears (both teams are horrible)

Colts over Bolts

Seattle over 49ers (definite underacheivers)

And Patriots get another win...just because they rock

Steelers over Browns ( Steelers are good)
Jags Over Titans ( Jags need a win this week)
Packers Over Vikes ( should be a good game)
Skins over Eagles
Saints over Rams
Bengals Over Ravens
Bears over Raiders
Cowboys Over NY Football Giants by 20
Lions whip Cards
Colts over Chargers on SNF ( want chargers to win but dont think they can)
Seahawks over 49er  for the worst MNF matchup ever.

8-3 so far ( dang eagles 26.gif  )

Cowboys looked very good overcoming some bad penaltys.

Defence looks much better.

Skins next week either at noon or 3 depending on if they move it.

NFC: Packers, Cowboys ,Saints ,Seahawks,: wild cards very up for grabs but Red Skins, Giants Lions and Bucs should come down to last game.

AFC: Patriots, Steelers,Chargers, Colts: Browns , Titans ,Jags fight for the last spots

Edit: I do think Payton An Eli switched places. 5 picks for the colts. Dang

Jeez i just realized the Saints still have a good chance of making the playoffs...

In general i agree with your picks for the playoffs easy bakes

NFC: Cowboys, Seahawks, Packers, and Saints

wildcard: Giants

-Look at the lions schedule and tell me they are going to make the playoffs, the Redskins arent as good as the Giants are talent-wise, and the Bucs are being racked by injuries again.

AFC: Colts, Patriots, Chargers, Steelers

Wildcard: Jaguars

I would not be suprised if the Titans won the wildcard either but Vince Young just doesnt seem like an NFL qb right now. The Bills and the Browns, while nice, feel like flukes to me; they are playing better than their talent indicates-think 2003 Cowboys in Parcells first season, #1 defence, 10 wins when we had the make-up of a 6 win team.

Oh my god...Indianapolis is actually going to win.

I did not see that coming after the Colts being down by so much so early.

woooo boy! peyton and vinitarie have the worst games of their life! and the pats stay unbeaten 3.gif

Im dissapointed in the chargers though. Peyton manning handed them the ball 4 times (2 of cromarties picks were incredible catches) and they only managed to get 7 points?!!! if it weren't for sproles they'd be screwed.

Easy bakes-once they get it on google earth im going to try and bat it 3.gif

Easy Bake: I couldnt belive listening to Peyton getting 5 picks. Do you think it was because of the bad playing conditions? Or did he just had an unusual bad game?

bbfan-peyton threw 6 picks because his entire offense was, to put it nicely, absolutely screwed from injuries.

but thats no excuse! perhaps the colts should spend more time working out and less time making commercials, then they would be less injury prone!

but i do think the weather has to do somthing with it, peyton can never play us in the razor cause of the snow, hes a one stadium quarterback really. (im not saying he can't play well outside of domes, but he is nowhere near as good)

Did you see the Packers kill the Vikings? The Vikings had no one for offense. They just had to run the ball. And that doesnt really work all the time, especially down 35-0 with 4 minutes to go in the game.
