I'm a Montreal Canadiens fan, and enjoy it when the bruins get spanked in the playoffs by them. I'm 17 and been playing the Sim City series since the beginning, and so far SC4 tops em' all. Well I'll be diddled.  I've been a community member for about 2 1/2 months and I keep discovering new things on this site like this thread!     Noooow I see where see some of our luminaries have been coming from.     (BTW I hope that the deities I saw in this thread earlier understand the rules about religion here)

 

I'm 41, originally from Indiana but have lived in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C.  since '87.  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (hence the nickname) and work for the D.C. government as a supervisor at ... (I don't want to accidentally risk violating any HIPAA laws here).  I' m happily married to a woman also fr IN but met over here!! and we have two kiddoes 4 & 6 and I want to do them right!

 

I am soooo glad to see other middle-aged folks who like playing computer games too!     This community is so cool!     (and I am glad that I have some Daddy/Hubby alone at the computer time at night - Hey at least I didn't create a football widow!!!)

 

My two major goals in life right now are to start a learning disabilities school in Anacostia and BAT something meaningful!  (and stop procrastinating on both!!)

Hi. My name is John. I'm going to be 30 this month. I'm 6'3 190lbs. Blue eyes, brown hair. Hmmm, I must be blind! I've been a memeber for way over a year now and I've never seen this post! I'm surprised how many young whippersnappers there are on this site, too. I'm 18, live in Windsor, Ont. (also known as the sorriest excuse for a city in Canada)I'm going into first year university; I love simcity (although I try not to spend all my life on the computer, but it's so hard not to! lol)as well as all the old-fashioned outdoor stuff, ie. swimming, biking, hiking, and yes, even gardening. I also LOVE to read. My only regret in life, is not being able to master the BAT process; too complicated for me, too many numbers. As you can tell by my name, I'm Swiss-Canadian, and darn well proud of it too, eh? lol And just for the record, the name's Kevin.

Man everyone here is so much like me... Its like I'm reading a repeat profile of myself. Its amazing to see how many mature folks are enjoying the game along with the boards around here... In fact we made this place our own little personal city/community. More people are here than in my hometown of Accokeek, MD (pop. 7,343). This place is 10 miles south of Washington DC but it takes almost an hour to commute there!!! (Good thing I don't have to commute there). And its great to find people come to enjoy this place from all over the world. But man this place is great!

Hi, my name is Bobby, but my friends call me Bobbo - currently I'm living in Fredericksburg VA surrounded by civil war battlefields, and confederate cementaries. Currently I'm unemployed,and I'm learning how to walk again. Just been released from the hospital after 3 months lying on my back, and the last 2 weeks of hospital stay learning how to walk again. It does exist , flesh eating bacteria does exist, lost 3 of my toes on my right foot (amputation) from the bacteria. This past week I've accomplished walking without assistance (a walker) - so I'm getting there ! So in the mean time, I'm learning how to BAT while my wounds heal - Dirk, I love your website - Awesome! I love Chihuahuas, I have a Blue Chihuahua, his name is Azul.
