Good luck doing this. We tried this a year ago or something, and no one got around. Plus, the map takes 5 minutes to load starting point, its huge (25km x 50km or something). Downtown is especially hard to create. I remember doing so, and you won't want to do it. Downtown is simply too hard/impossible, and you don't want to waste your first 5 minutes just loading maps, do you?

I have a suggestion for you, TJD. I noticed that the avenue below the cliffs are a little edgy. Perhaps you could level it and repave the road so that it would look flatter and neater. Just a little thing like that could cause a ton of perfectionist's problems. Hope you don't work your ass off trying to do all of that!

As for power line bridges... what do they look like? quote> Nope, they don't seem to be supported all the way down at all. So they must be floating. And how would such a bridge look? Well usually, like a suspension bridge but without the vehicle deck. It's called the catenary wire method, and the power cable is hung from the suspension cable. With this way of doing it, great distances can be spanned. Hope that helps. Cheers. quote> Those are some pretty steep beaches you have there... It would be funny, but I'm not funny.

so... I was thinking that Community On-Goings, City Journal, or General Discussions (or even Mod General Discussions) would be a great place to start sign-ups. I'll need either a vote or approval of a high command (ae: the7trumpets... if he ever gets back here). Yep. cheers

Ooooh. Which building will make it as your new city council building? Your photo taking skills are also amazing. That shot with the coal mine makes it not out of place. Keep it up!

You should REALLY BURN THIS THING on a CD right now so your work would be saved. I'm so damn jealous of you because you're so patient and my computer is crap I couldn't even replicate Vancouver... Nice job, keep them coming. I have given this thread so many viewcounts it's not funny .
