You have to make a sunken highway first, then if you have the NAM 6.8.05, you can go to the road section and search for Road puzzle pieces. Keep on pressing tab until you see On slope road

BTW, welcome to page 98 Jeronij. 39.gif39.gif Twenty-thousand more until the end of this CJ...18.gif

Hey Jeronij,

I really have to say that the update with those wierd buildings, (and no I don't have a simcity database in my brain)..2.gif) look great i love the way they hang over the highway, even though I know I wouldn't want to work over a highway, 47.gif. The stream/pond in Darmoklia is beautiful, I know I have said this before but that picture really brought it out in me, the cycledogg's trees look so grand in that area, how great. The NDEX donauturm tower is looking grand, in my CJ Palm Point, I do the same with that tower, that is such a grand tower to work with. I can really say that this was one of my favorite updates on SCR.

Great work my friend!

Wow, the end of an era! Too bad, but I understand, it is very hard to keep a journal going and what not. It's phenomenal that you've almost hit a 100 pages, I'd go for it, personally, but if you want to cut it short, well whose gonna stop you? Again, it's been an absolute pleasure watching this journal progress. Nice job!1.gif

What !?

just left a week and this CJ will end ?

Well, great jobs you have done for all everyone in simtropolis. i finished reading this thread in a week as promised, and i noticed that lots of people who visited this CJ said that your city is quite stunning and have changed their city-building style, including me. It is sad to hear that you will close this CJ, and it is a pitty it is not the first thread, which is truly about the game, that go through 100.
i must say you are the MVP of SC4

it's over? what? although i don't think i have posted here, i am still always observing. there is just so much attention to detail in every area of your cities. there is no doubt in my mind how your cj managed to get ALMOST 100 pages.

well, good luck to whatever you're doing next and to the end of this thread. i really enjoyed it.

So bad that you end this cj. It's the best ever. I think i posted once here but i look at almost every update. Observing just like JEC. I hope we still can get some nice updates till you hit 100 pages. Thank you jeronij for this awesome and inspiring cj. Many CJs are influenced by yours, so that means that this is a legend CJ. There are no words to describe how good your job was. I never thought that a CJ could be 100 pages long. But you did it (you'll certainly hit 100 pages). Thank you jeronij, i really enjoyed it.

A farwell gift to jeoronij and SCR. A nice villa estate overlookingthe ocean atop a small moutain. The pic is from a city called Avalon Heights from my upcoming CJ. I am trying to build this city as a showcase for all the work jeoronij has done in SCR. I couldnt get a better picture showing the terraced roads going up the mountain w/o losing either the ocean view or the house 28.gif. I hope you like the picture jeoronij. SCR will be sorely missed

It's such a shame to see you leave Columbia River!

I have had many pleasure reading and watching your CJ, even though I don't play SC no as much as I used to, I still see things that I will definitely use when the time comes.

I'll be fully supporting you other projects, e.g. the textures you make for more and more intersections is superb!
I guess you learned a lot during the progress of SCR that some day we can expect an even better CJ!?!

Peace! 40.gif40.gif40.gif40.gif40.gif

Give the guy a break!

Besides there is all the new NAM stuff to get started with. If he is anything like me I was almost tempted to start a new city from scratch to experiment with the new possibilities. Lots of diagonal stuff to work with and to show off. The slope puzzles that will allow straight rail overpasses, finally flattened bridges are possible for the sunken highways. There's the GLR, dual networking, all these things will shape the look of a new city and journal. Many of the lots/textures used in SCR are becoming overplayed and its time to move on and develop a whole new look. The anticipation for me easily out weighs the need to let go of the old.

Let's face it the chapter of SCR has been played out. In a way many of you seem to come accross as a bit cultish and along the way other journals have been ignored and overlooked. There are others with just as an exceptional command for the game who you may have never heard of. His style of play was evident long ago. His ability to utilize the latest mod, bats, etc.. enhanced his style and kept many of us coming back for more. Maybe its time to allow a few other talented gamers a chance to gain more of the spotlight and showcase their talents with there own styles and command for the game and its ongoing inovations. I am sure Jeronij will be right there with them.

Cheers and good luck with your next game!
~MPM

P.S. Look at his journal as a work of art that has finally been completed. Now its time to move on to the next masterpeice.

jeroni, you're goin' out with a bang... a big, awesome bang here in SCR. 1.gif  The past couple of updates have been more than outstanding.

And yes, you're right, all things that begin do indeed have an end.  Just a shame the end is so soon with this good thing. 2.gif47.gif

I work for the US Army. I go places, visit mean people, and kill them.

Winston Churchill is generall credited for saying something to the effect of: "People sleep soundly in their beds because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf". That about sums up my life, besides the "rough men" part.
