Hi Jeronij!

First of all, congratulations on your 70th (46.gif) update! Such a number can only mean you are incredibly talented for both SC4 and creating a CJ. Your dedication and kind spirit inspire so many ST members. I believe you once said you started this CJ to become somewhat more happy in live, but in doing so you are making many people all around the world more happy! Thank you for that.

I like the new additions to Costa Tramuntana, but I really love how the Citadel looks! I can't believe you're letting us wait even longer to see what it looks like after 'the click'! One other thing, your parking lots look very good, but not on uneven land, don't you think? The fences look odd and cars are parked at a 20 degrees angle: imagine someone forgetting their handbreak! [:0] You use them a lot I've noticed, so perhaps in addition to all the details you allready pay notice to, you can level out the terrain a bit before placing your parking lots. Just a thought..

Don't bother searching for me, but if you (or anyone else) accidently knows where to download the large toll booth from 70.13 I'd be gratefull! It's Japanese perhaps?

Regards.

WOW Jeronij, [:0]

This message is long overdue, but I have to start it. I started reading you CJ 2 weeks ago and now (11 May) I am at page 50. So many pages to go. I love it!

As stated by so many members of Simtropolis before, SCR is one of the best (if not the best) CJ around! Many, many compliments on your well thought and patiently carried out work. You give me and so many others so many good ideas. I have started being much more patiently in developing my cities now and it pays off. Thank you.

Being a father of a son who has VCF syndrome (browse the internet for your horror stories) I know how difficult it sometimes can be. Enjoy the happy moments together and look after the happiness of your son, and have a lot of patience!

Finally a question that I have been willing to ask for some pages.
You have a square surrounded by trees with a spanish flag. It is clearly visible on image 61.10 and appears twice in the centre of Coste Transmuntana.

Where can I find it?

Keep up the good work and enjoy live and SC4!!!  2.gif

Hello, Jeroni.

< chuckle >  You're correct about RL.  Sometimes it just gets in the way of our fun!  < grin >

Thanks for the information on the textures in Buena Vista.  I'm a bit unclear on one point concerning them.  Can CycleDogg's original Columbus textures be used with his new tree .dat files or do I need to use the original tree .dat files with the original textures?  Thanks, in advance, for the answer.

Ah, JBAT's Castle Wall Set.  I had forgotten about them.  Yes, I'll be able to put them to good use.

PSP -- a great graphics editor application.  I have been using this program since version 3.x.

Update 70
Costa Tramuntana
70.01
Ah, SimGoober's XXX Hotel.  I can see that you can walk right across the road and get yourself some fresh fruit and vegetables.  Great location!  That is an interesting corner you have at the right of the picture -- sort of an extra turn around the corner.  What is the building with the blueish-colored roof?

70.02  I do enjoy your Parks, Jeroni.  You seem to alway pick the perfect Lots/BATS to use for them.   I do like SimGoobers Spring Water Fountain.  It looks so relaxing.

70.03  I like the high wealth homes that are being built here.  It should make the city council of Costa Tramuntana very happy.

70.04 and .05  That is quite a large store.  I'm not familiar with Tesco or Shoppers other than what I've read in the description for the BATs.

70.06 and .07  What a great overview of Costa Tramuntana and east to Port de Soller.  You've done a wonderful job developing it.

Ets Amunts
70.08
I really like the outside surrounds of the Citadel.  It is very nice.  I especially like the grassy knoll in the lower right corner.  It looks like it would be a great place to lay out a blanket, have a picnic lunch and maybe throw a frisbee around.  Of course, you better be real sure you know where you are if you are running close to the edge!  < grin >

70.09 through .11  What an excellent job you have done creating the Citadel.  I do like this entrance area.  Your use of the arched gateways is great, Jeroni.    As always, your overview is wonderful.  I see you've mastered the art of anticipation as well -- making us wait until the next update to see the results of unpausing the game!  < grin >

70.12 and .13  I see that there are big things in store for the downtown area of Costa Tramuntana.  Thanks for the preview of things to come.

Great update, Jeroni.  Thanks.

Regards,

Vandy

Hola amigo,

Only a few minutes before my lunch break is over, but I must comment about that (again) successful update. 44.gif

I'm still in love with that citadel of yours, and can't wait for the next update and see it after the click. And those sloped park as shown in 70.08 little detail, but nevertheless beautiful.

Costa Tramuntana is comming nicely too, and that high wealth res. sector is so good looking with that little spring water fountain!

Great one Jeroni! 44.gif

Take care.

Jeroni,

Congratulations on 50 pages and 70 updates!

I haven't been playing SC4 or a Simtropolis member for very long, but this is the largest CJ I have come across yet - and the best if you ask me!!!

I am continually amazed at the way you take the time to respond so personally to your visitors. It really makes your CJ a nice place to hang out.

Have you decided on the ultimate fate of SCR yet? I hope it is staying around, nothing personal Buena Vista! 9.gif

I meant to post before you returned jeronij. You got here just a few minutes before me with your days post.
The region view was much appreciated. Looking fantastic!
Think I will have to call the Travel Agent about visiting Costa Tramuntana. Maybe I could stay in Sim Goobers new motel there? He sure adds a lot to the game with his wonderful BATS.
I got real brave today and installed CD's Modd. No problems and I was sort of proud I didn't mess it up. hehe
I think it would be very nice if you call me *Boo*.
Some of my RL friends do as well.
    Have a good one everybody.
    As always,

    Hey Jeronji,

The update was amazing, the shots were beautiful. 70.01, what a nice small hotel surrounded by beautiful wildlife. 70.02, just wow, I loved the close up of the trail. Nice supermarkets too, lol. Nice condos as well. Keep these great urban areas up.

Hey wonderful region view! It is amazing! Keep it going! Yeah with 750 MB of RAM simcity can do wonders! I have 768 MB of RAM and my Downtown pretty much still lags but not as much as when I had 250 MB. I am glad you upgraded it will sure keep your city journal alive. Wow! What a nice surprise jeronij! Welcome to the neighborhood everybody!
It's good to be in such nice company. Tax free-that is my kind of taxes! hehe Thanks again jeronij. 48.gif
I think I will take my little Red Truck sitting there in the driveway and take a tour of the City. Maybe drive down by the Citadel and check out the new construction there. Later I will make time to visit downtown, see all the sites, then take a leisurely stroll along the beach.
If I have time I will head over to Pegs dockside and do some shopping.
    Have a great day everyone!
    As always,

    Hi, Jeroni.

Great picture of the Columbia River region.  It really gives a very good picture of the overall development of the region.

    The ST Residential Area
Thank you for the wonderful close-up pictures of this rich residential area.  I'm sure everyone you've given a home to will really enjoy living there.  It is a beautiful area.  I have to say I'm a little jealous of Boo's and Superstar's Residences.  They are beautiful and quite modern looking homes.  Finally, all I can say about these homes being tax-free is BAH!!  < grin >

    Overview of Costa Tramuntana
What a great picture of this town.  It really puts in perspective the development you've done.  And, I have no doubt that you've developed the area that is left in a splendid fashion!

As you did by putting in PEG's docks.  They look very nice next to the tunnel.

I've really enjoyed your close-up of the tunnel entrance and park.  That looks to be a very nice place to go and spend a lazy afternoon.

    Ets Amunts -- The Citadel
The Citadel developed quite nicely.  It really has the look and feel of an old village.  Great job, Jeroni.

    Extra Downtown
Wow!  I am really looking forward to seeing more of downtown.  You do seem to have some very nice eyescrapers!  It looks great!

    Regards,

    Vandy

How do you name your cities, where do you get the names as Costa, Sa Pusa, etc?
And where do you get that building in the downtown, the building with red lights and a big hole in it?

9.gif You just put an ear to ear smile on my face! I'm very honoured to receive such a huge mansion in Columbia River.. And opposite to an actual superstar no less! Packing my things right now! 2.gif Costa Tramuntana here I come! 17.gif17.gif Won't go parking at the motel, who needs a motel if he has such a huge, beautifull mansion!

I'll check out insims, the german language won't be a problem cause In the Netherlands (you guessed right!) everyone learns german, english and french. Well, and dutch offcourse.. Thanks for the pointer.

So much pictures! And again, so high quality! Let me just say that the Citadel is perfect, just perfect. Costa Tramuntana downtown looks promising, I'm very curious to see if there will be some nice nightlife coming to town!

    Regards.
