Wooohooo!!!! I have my own little town in Columbia River CJ!!! 43.gif43.gif43.gif

Thank you very much Jeronij, this is a great honour for me!
PS. Ephorex - That entire structure (the plaza and the surrounding - diagonal - buildings within the square road pattern) is a Maxis building, you should look through your monuments menu (I believe, please correct me if I'm wrong).

Oh, I see 43.gif.

Thx for that, I've never bothered to check the smaller Maxis landmarks, there are too many of them!! 3.gif

I got dizzy scrolling down! 9.gif I have made a few mosiac style pictures of my own, but as everything you do, yours is far and away better than anything I could ever produce.

I know I don't really comment much in here, but in honor of 100,000 (!!) page views, I figured I should make my presence felt in SCR. Other than that, I don't know what to say that won't mirror the sentiment felt by countless other people here. I am not generally one for prettiness in cities, but I will gladly make an exception for SCR.

Oh, and might I add...

Welcome to PAGE 70!

    Great Updates.

    I didn't find the 25 building...41.gif'); height=15 alt=Insert smilie 41.gif src=https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/images/smilies/41.gif width=15 border=0> ....but who cares. I rather sit here reading your CJ than looking for
    a building.

Nice Road System! And all those empty spaces filled with lovely houses and trees... *dreaming*
    Looking good.

Each time I come here it amazes me.[:0] Every detail, and I mean every one of them , has been taking care of. I think you work tile by tile in your region. All that must take several hours to do. Do you have time to eat and drink?47.gif

Anyway, just great pictures and to be honest, you have overpassed my CJ with quality pictures as I do not have ability and the time to replic. Great detailed work! Hats off.2.gif

@ jeronij: it's all the same what you do, it looks great!!! i think you have a special sense for roads and highways etc.... 44.gif

@mutter24: first of all you have to lift the terrain under the river above sea level, now you can dig a tunnel and at the end you sink the terrain under sea level again.

My favorite pics are, as always, from EA, with the streams, farms, and pine trails. Simply spectacular. BTW, I have a question for you: are your tarmac/white trails pedestrian enabled?

OMG, Jeronji, the last picture on page 69, the mosiac I just am amazed, wow that word is one I use alot in this journal. I just loved every millimeter of that picture, I just gazed at it when I saw it. The update on page 70, that was really nothing short of great, I just don't know what to say. The embankments with the rails, great idea, as usual. That picture, 72.08 was great, the Yokohama city hall used with marrast's sea wall lots, might try that. A question about that pic I see the sea walls just stop are you going to continue putting the walls there or something else ? Anyway, that by far I would have to say was the best update I have ever seen you have. Great work amigo.

    Ert... arp... mwup... [struck speechless]

I do so enjoy the mosiacs.  I love how one of the in-game, EA created landmarks you used created such a stir when folks couldn't recognize it.

ya know, jeronij, seriously - when you can make rusted old oil tanks look simply beautiful...when you can make a railroad yard look beautiful, then you are doing a beautiful job.

    Hi jeroni 1.gif,

As usual a great update! Wonderful work 9.gif. I would like to ask you something though. How do you level the land at the coast while making those docks? I tried for over an hour but I couldn't get it right. Everytime the coast would either be too shallow or there would be sand next to the docks. Is there any tool which you use to flatten the land or is it your sheer patience using the Maxis Terraforming Tools?

Also one more thing, What is that Train Ferry Building in 72.02? Looks good, did you make it?

Cool CJ 9.gif. You are one of those few gifted people who can play both God and Mayor and be perfect in both those fields. Great !! 1.gif
