Every time I come here I think that you can't surpass what you've previously done, but this is what keeps me coming back to this CJ...that you always manage to come up with some incredible creative twist!  Keep the mosaics coming!   I love it!

After visitng the Citadel at Ets Amunts I drove around CT. I am in awe of its beauty and the people are so friendly. Time to refresh and go meet some neighbors. I have such nice ones. Maybe a bar-b-que this weekend would be in order to celebrate our new residences. 19.gif

In fact this is a home made mod that gives the city some thousands of CO$$$ jobs 2.gif. The spanish flag can be found somewhere, probably in the STEX. It is an old prop that was released by PEG. OK, OK, I know, I wanted to post before but is was finally impossible for me. But now it is time for

    UPDATE 71

    COSTA TRAMUNTANA.
    THE HARBOUR AREA

71.01 Somehow it is time now to go back to the origin... Some Industry and a Harbour are needed. Railroad is a good option for goods distribution, so many railroad lines go to the new area to develop... Notice where the railroad finishes in this pic...

    U71_CT_01.jpg

71.02 Some major terraforming... Another underwater tunnel, ( much more humble 2.gif....

    U71_CT_02.jpg

71.03 An overall view on the train connection to and from the new harbour.

    U71_CT_03.jpg

71.04 KOSC Engineering designed and build the Harbour bridge....

    U71_CT_04.jpg

71.05 And an overall view on the very original situation....( Pls no comments about the testing trees circle 22.gif43.gif)

    U71_CT_05.jpg

71.06 Soon the harbour started its development....

    U71_CT_06.jpg

71.07 Some great Japanese engineers designed the spectacular ferry/train terminal station.

    U71_CT_07.jpg

    ETS AMUNTS.
NOT ALL IS CITADEL IN THIS LIFE... 2.gif

71.08 After the development of the citadel, Mayor Jeroni needed some relax... Then he build a new small town. Jaspedermanns Burg

    U71_EA_01.jpg

71.09 Most of the residents in Jaspedermanns Burg  town work in the tires factory to the left.

    U71_EA_02.jpg

71.10 Here is an overall view on the town...

    U71_EA_03.jpg

71.11 And a far city view. The Citadel is to the North in this pic.

    U71_EA_04.jpg

And this was the 71th update. I hope you like it too !!!.
I have noticed a great amount of replies to the last mosaic. I feel happy 9.gif. I

Jeroni, thank you for showing us how you are developing you harbor area.  Always very informative to see how someone else does it.  Especially the Master.

Being slightly partial to rural settings, I really like the last few pics.  You seem to have been able to create a small rural community while including some medium density zoning.  Not easy do.....

Great update and I'll be looking for that next mosaic at post 100,00029.gif

wow, jeroni, you astonish me in every update! even, when the area shown in your pictures is still under developement!!!

i know, you use the brf_tunnel and slope mod, but in picture 71.01 the rails are very steep which mod is this? i use the brf mod as well, but sometimes its really difficult to build rails in hilly areas...

i really like ets amunts, it's a very nice village

and lol, i didn't know, that you understand german... sch

    Hey Jeronji,

The new harbor is amazing, I asked about this earlier and I am happy to see it again. I love the look of it, so many great lots. That new farm is also so beautiful. I can't wait to see some more of the harbor.

Fantastic work on the harbor. It is very cool to see how you put it all together. You make it seem effortless, but we all know it takes great talent.

Jaspedermanns Burg is a quaint little town. Lovely, really. It is a nice counterpoint to the industrial harbor.

As always, I can't wait to see more!

What's that building over in the top left corner of the picture? Me wants.

Otherwise, as beautiful as ever, and I like how the railway line merges seamlessly with the ground, with the tunnel. Ah, wonderful.

And what's that donut doing there? An experiment, perhaps? 3.gif (no, don't answer that)18.gif

I always loved your seaports, and the preceding emphasizes your skill. The transition of rolling agriculture districts to epic industry ports is seamless. Great Work!

    Hola Amigo!

those pictures are as good as all your pictures are. You remember what I told you in one of my first comments of your CJ, that I was impressed by the way you stay focused on your work, well... I'm even more impressed now after 71 updates. Still that unwavering focus, always impressive even in the most simple or humble setup.

Always a pleasure to admire your work jeroni, if one day there's a SC4 museum, I guess your CJ will take the same place in it as the Mona Lisa in the Louvres.

Oh! A question about the train ferry, is it operational or just eye candy?

    Take care amigo.

The Baleares are somewhat off the coast of Spain, between it and Algeria.

The Spanish flag can be found on simcity.com in the official Maxis downloads section, Day of Peace along with a few more flags.

The Mosaic is AWESOME!!!! The Tesco several pages back looked great too.

Thank you very much Jeronij, this is a great honour for me!

PS. Ephorex - That entire structure (the plaza and the surrounding - diagonal - buildings within the square road pattern) is a Maxis building, you should look through your monuments menu (I believe, please correct me if I'm wrong).
