Hopefully setup of that mod is fairly easy, ...

Very easy, especially if you have the GOG version of SC4. Just drop @memo's DLL file in the installation folder's Plugins under SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition:

Thanks Cori, I just have steam version but if it's just a drag & drop into my plugins even I should be able to do that without breaking something... I hope. *

Does anyone know the default Pitch value? I see that the default Yaw value is 22.5, but there seems to be a range of default Pitch values listed. While messing around with the camera some of my buildings don't seem to like some of the angles, and when I went back to CameraPitch 30 (assuming this was the default) the buildings were still all messed up looking. I restarted my game and everything is back to normal now, but I think I maybe wasn't resetting the Pitch correctly? Is it 45 as the default Pitch value?

Zoom Level Value
Zoom 1 30°
Zoom 2 35°
Zoom 3 40°
Zoom 4 45°
Zoom 5 45°

To reset them all to default do: CameraPitch (without any numbers after it)

Thanks Cori, I'll have to mess with the settings more. It seemed like many of the buildings I'm using didn't like the settings, like the rural seaport and some of the historic harbor pieces.

I'm still learning ...

Like you, my initial foray into the angled pics was a lot of trial and error. Which ones are best prolly depends on their purpose.

For your top 3, those are great if the narrative is about the land and its main characteristics which will then later help put closer views in perspective. The fourth pic can serve that same purpose, but if it's standalone I feel I want to zoom in on the land in the upper left or the island to see them better.

The last one I like very much as it reminds me of one of those old-timey postcards like in the little train museum where I used to live. That image has two aspects which work well in harmony. It gives a good feeling for the overall landscape in relation to the sea as well as showing the rural farms in the flatter areas before the rocky area starts.
