@nos.17 I'm running into an issue with version 1.0.2 where the program crashes whenever I press on the "Move Files" button after I successfully finish running a Cleanitol.txt script file. I have already posted a report comment on your STEX upload page but I decided to report it to you here on your discussion thread as well.

Same issue here.

    @CahosRahneVeloza @Allein @leninplato2

Thanks for the report! See if the attached version solves the issue. If it does I'll update the STEX entry and remove this attachment. It turns out I left some code in from testing a new feature for the console version. 🤦‍♂️

I also improved the error handling a bit so it should write more things to the log file which will be helpful in the future.

Looks like there's no cleanitol file included for that lot unfortunately. Some mod authors include them; many do not. Make sure you have all the texture dependencies listed for the base IRM, but by looking at the lot my guess is this is the one you're missing.

    Thank you :thumb:I'll try that

My better error handling is helpful now! *:)

Hmm. The log seems to be implying that it's crashing while running the script, not when moving the files. In any case, it's saying that access to those files in your plugins folder is denied. Looks like there's four things to start checking. I can rule out #3, since the item it's trying to move is indeed a file and not a folder. #1 I'm not sure about, but I would be surprised if it's the case since its just your Plugins folder and not a 'special' folder. Can you check if any  of the three files listed on the "File:" lines are read-only? And assuming that none of them are currently open?

The three files being reoorted by the error log?

One of them, the one from the CSX Mansions Broadlamds seems to be an icon file.

The cousin Vinnie.dat file is a cheat ordinance mod.

And the last item is a bus automata.

I'm currently on my phone but I'll see if they're set to read only once I get home and are in front of my PC.

    RFE - Addendum:

OK just got home and checked. All three files were in fact set as "Read Only". I've unticked the setting for all three files for now.

    RFE - Follow up:

Tried using the version you posted above and it still crashes. But at least both version 1.0.0 and the one you uploaded for testing are no longer reporting errors with those three files.

Glad we're making some progress! But which one works and which one is still having issues? I think i only posted one for testing? This one?

Yup, I tested that temporary version you linked on that post of yours and it still crashes once I press the move files button just like with version 1.0.2.

Hi sorry to join in mid thread - like Cahos above I have already posted a report comment on your STEX upload page but I decided to report it here too after having read this conversation. (I have also since edited my report and added a link pointing visitors here in case anyone else has the same queries).

This discussion is helpful, good to stay in the loop :-)

Version 1.0.0 I thought wasn't working for me. However I retried it after reading your comment and it does work so using that version for now.

Thanks for all your hard work on this nos.17 ! *:)

Edit: sorry for the multiple posts. Just wanted to clarify my testing included this one (1.0.3-R1) but I still had no error log messages after clicking Moving Files resulted in crashes.

I also experience the crashing once clicking 'move files'. Several versions of .Net up to version 9 are installed, directory and files not set as 'Read Only', error log is empty.

    Thanks.

I'm having the same issue as a number of user have reported above where Cleanitol crashes after clicking the 'move files' button.  I've attached my error report below as well.

Any help or insight you may have is greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Thanks for the report and the log snippet. This is certainly an interesting one ... it's failing because another process is trying to use csdbpf.dll, one of the program's own files. Do you have multiple instances of the program open? Does the error persist after a computer restart?

Anyways, because of this and some other issues I plan on just remodeling the whole program in the new year.
