Building has wrong name (need help)

I downloaded a large police station, which provides coverage for almost the entire city. The problem is, now when I mouse over and inquire, it says it's not a police station, but "Lillard Audio". I know it has something to do with another mod I downloaded, but I can't find which one. Has anybody run into this before?

Buildings or Props tend to have a link to an LText file containing their name. Most likely this is just the name of the model as intended to be used when this grows as a Com building. It isn’t an error, provided the actual Police station or Lot has the correct properties of a police station. When you query the building it should show correctly as a police station.

You can change the LText or make other modification to alter what text appears. But none of this is tied into the functionality and therefore of low importance. Especially considering it may be necessary to create a new Prop Exemplar to make the change. Since my guess would be this model/prop is used from the Maxis Buildings as Props files. I.e. you could just alter the existing Exemplar without renaming all instances to ‘Police Station’ or whatever.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

Thank you for the input. I believe you are right. The police coverage is still there as near as I can tell. I know it has to do with a mod I just added, but I'm not sure which one.
