So... I'm having an issue with new NAM 38... my RHW texture has switched from Euro to Maxis basic texture, even though I did everything right during the installation.

Other NAM pieces work perfectly, including the new HRW... but those highways 😫

I also removed NAM 38 files and re-install 37 back but it didn't help me...

Can you help me, please?

Well logically if NAM 37 had been working correctly with EU texture, returning to your previous setup would have fixed the problem. I'm inclined to think therefore you may have some conflicting files lying around that are messing with this. Your best bet would be to remove any and all instances of the Network Addon Mod and z___NAM folders you have in Plugins, then start again with a fresh install of NAM 38. If at that point you are still seeing many US textures, it would help to see a screenshot, so we have an idea of some specifically affected pieces. So far as I know, for the most part the EU textures were fine in NAM 37, although there are some gaps in coverage.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

What is a Controller Compiler, other than 320m taking up space on my pc?

The Controller Compiler is a utility that is intended to allow users to compile their own custom builds of the NAM Controller, the file that contains all the RULs that allow the NAM's network additions and fixes to work in-game.  The NAM, by default, includes a full Controller (which runs about 281MB), but it's possible to use the utility to produce a smaller one, for users who intend to run with smaller feature sets and want less overhead.

If you're able to run the full Controller and have no interest in compiling a custom one, then you can get rid of it.  Almost all of that bulk is from the source files for the RULs themselves (in the "Network Addon Mod" subfolder of the Controller Compiler), as the tool itself is only 71KB.
