NDEX Old Post Office Highway (SOLVED)

hey forum folks, 

has anynone here ever encountered this problem:

 

when plopping down the "NDEX Old Post Office" (i love that monstrosity) there are highway connectors in the middle. it is even possible to plop the building on an existing highway.

here is the problem: once plopped, the highway gets severed..it is NOT possible to reattach it. i have tried everything...completely even terrain, saving and restarting, reinstalling...nada. 

 

what gives? any help is appreciated.

After a brief experiment, if you just drag the highway up to the building, it will not connect.  You have to drag the highway into (or out of) the building, or better drag it all the way through.

i tried that, did not work. still, i solved it...terrain has to be completely flat ALL AROUND the building, not just where the highway enters the "hole".

Do you have a slope mod installed? If so, consider tweaking it in iLives.

i do have the slope mod installed! i'm an idiot. thank you, jeffryfisher.
