Putting On The [RRW] Re-Skin...

The concrete industry in your SimNation must be thriving! *:D But seriously, that's some impressive work with bridges, tunnels, and slopes. It's also great to see the new skin in a practical application.

I must admit that I prefer the brownish, somewhat dirtier version (and darker viaducts to match!) myself, but I can see that this re-skin has its charms. It's a different style, it absolutely looks the part, and it's great to have this degree of choice, and to see the stuff other people with different tastes than oneself are creating - not although, but because it's something you might never even think of yourself. *:)

So thank you for sharing these pictures with us! I could look at those for hours...

T Wrecks you are right!  I never thought about it that way but I do really my concrete companies a steady stream of business...

On the rail color - I like the brownish one also and I had just found a new underrail texture for it that I thought was perfect.  Really though I wish the game would let us have both at the same time - I keep my passenger and freight lines completely separate and I would run the brown rails for freight and the new reskin for all my regional commuter lines!  Sigh...

That tool is going to be beloved once its released. I wonder if can handle transparent textures - to create a non ballast & ties set on steroids. Granted, re-iid-ing everything would be a nightmare.

@Simmer2Wow, it's really nice! Looks so real... Almost like your real rail-track props... :) Amazing work here! :) And I love the texture of the station too. :)

Those are 3D rails, or it is a texture?

They are textures. I used a very tricky shadow process to make them.
