most time spent in one day on a video game

what is the most time you've spent on a video game?  which video game was it?  how did you feel afterwards?
for me, i spent 8 hours (!!) on Need for Speed Underground 2.  i felt really tired and my eyes hurt

I spend about 4 hours on The Simpsons Hit & Run last week, and then I got quite tired too, but my eyes didn't hurt.

Hmm, once when I got a day off from school and my parents weren't home (so they couldn't get me off the computer ), I spent all day on the computer, only stopping to go get food and eat in front of the computer and going to the bathroom.

I've spent at least 12-15 hours on a game in one day. Woke up, started playing, took quick break to eat breakfast, started back up, took a few bathroom breaks and breaks to grab some snacks to eat while playing and kept playing until time for bed. I didnt even shower. (need a smelly smilie) Don't remember which game it was. It was years ago. I was tired after.

Today I spent about 9 hours playing Guild Wars. 5pm-2am

My record is slightly under six hours. Not much really, but it was Gran Turismo 3. I only stopped because I got motion sickness from playing it so long.

I once played a whole day.....maybe not 24 hours,but maybe it was 20....

 

It was a combo of games.....like Resident evil and GTA3,Vice City and then I played some SC4....basicly got up really early...before like 11am....then played PS2 until 8pm...probly swicthed after eating at 9pm....played SC4 for a long time....probly past sunrise which was my custom back when my computer worked....basicly during the summer of 05 I was either in the chat or on SC4....

 

Back when I had a PS2...(before it broke) and now my little bro has one so I don't play much....I'd play for 2 to 5 hours...or maybe it was less...but I was always on SC4 for so long its not even funny....

 

Mostly I play games during summer...later during school I barly play PS2 and mostly...well I'm still waiting for my computer to be repaired...need the cash...

Actually, the game that's taken most of my time at once might very well be one of the Sim Cities (2000, 3000, or 4).

 

Although, if you allow for breaks to go eat and such, some of the Megaman Battle Network games contend for that title, too.

Since I am the Purveyor of Erudition I think I should tell you that when your eye's start hurting and you get back pains you should stop using a computer or/and playing a vidio game. Playing for 1 hour at a time with a 15 min breack is a better idea and you may actually play better as having a breack boosts your concentration level's.

The only game I play for several hours straight is Simcity (2000, 3000, 4, whatever). It's a game where you find your own pace, you can take your time... so it's the only one I can handle for long. Right after SC4 was released I frequently played for the whole night until I saw some light coming from my window. The same happened when RH was released.

I've been playing 'The Warriors' and 'Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones' recently... but as I said I can't handle those types of games for too long... I never go over two hours at a time.

I can play for about 2 hours, then I got to have a break at atleast 15 minutes. Then I can play for another 2 hours, but mostly someone else in my family wants to play then. Actually my little sister is standing right behind me and waiting for her turn. So it is.

marothon gamming can cause serious side effects....it's always a good idea to take a break after 2 or 3 hours...gie the body mide...specially the eyes...an break

 

don't hurt yourself just for fun guys...i never played more than 3 hours ever...and I take little breaks while playing even then

I remember one day I was extremely upset about something that happened to me earlier in the day. As a result I sat in my room & played Fable from like 3pm-9pm straight. Beat the whole game.

Other than that there were a few saturdays that I found myself playing SimCity 3000 Unlimited from morning to afternoon to try and create the perfect city.

The most for most of you is what I play daily. The longest I ever played must be.... 20 hours. Who knows? Every day I play on either my Playstation(online or offline),Gamecube, or computer. Once I get in bed, I strap on my earphones and play on Nintendo DS.(online or offline) For reasons unknown, I will not get hungry while playing. Well, I doubt  any of you play that much.
