I'll add in a pic if it helps explain. img18.imageshack.us/img18/6030/subwaylines.jpg can't figure out how to get a thumbnail in these forums so i just put a link. Full image prolly too big.

you dont have to build it all at once. My metro stations are mostly segmented. I feel its more efficient as some parts of the line are much more crowded than others. Only negative is that it doesn't look as good, but functionality is all that matters.

But large offices, hotels and high-tech factories won't survive even middle levels, not unless you cramp every single Landmark available nearby.quote> I only keep a small amount of offices in my dirty city so far. But they seem to be doing well. Profitability is 81%. Probably will be higher once i import some high tech. Im severely lacking in that for the moment.

I have a city over a million with lots of big industry and I keep it all against one edge of the map and a large unused gap between it and everything else in the city. Air pollution only slightly touches the edge of the population.

Now it's gotten even weirder. I went to place a different Blueprint down (chichen itza) and when i open the manage blueprint window, it shows the resources and name of the blueprint that went missing (nuclear power plant). The structure footprint looks like chichen itza and the window the opens when you click on the building says chichen itza, but its requiring me to use the tokens needed for a power plant.

The traffic simulator alone makes cities XL better than SC4. The traffic issue was the thing that drove me away from SC4. And I love blueprints. I'd just like to see more transit options. Light Rail would be awesome. Working roundabouts would be nice. Even though the traffic simulator is better, I'd really like to see more citizens using mass transit.

Leisure really needs to be redone. Leisure should be left mainly to sports areanas/stadiums. Things that normally are built by the government. not private companies like bowling alleys. I'd like to see a much much larger area of effect for Stadiums. Should be city wide and should have a large impact. Like +30%.

Originally posted by: Jesse Swiss Thats odd, I dont think that was a issue yet submitted by members, did you maybe try re-entering the city?quote> Yes i've tried exiting the city, going to another city, exiting the game completely, and still it's not there. And just to be clear it's only gone in that specific city in case anyone was wondering.

I put down a blueprint on the edge of the map and the part that borders the edge happened to be the part that needed a road connection. I can't seem to delete the blueprint and it's not recognizing any of the other roads around it. Help! Edit: Ok nevermind that part. New problem I went back to a save i had just before that, I completely forgot about it for a minute there, so i was able to get the blueprint gone, but now its completely gone. It's not in the menu anymore to select.

I don't understand why the signs were bloopers.... And I like the Ford building. Stop being greedy.

Can we PLEASE have an option to turn these off? I really really really really really do NOT like having these things popping up every 30 seconds. If I want to see how my contracts are I would rather just open the trade window and look. I don't need these pop up windows telling me constantly.

Ridership seems a bit low. I got some crazy clogged streets and the some of the routes are barely used.
