Man, my city has never looked as filthy, decrepit and rough around the edges as it does now, thanks to all your amazing props!

Can we expect some trash decals too, as seen in the first screenshot?

Yes! I have a few that I'm working on right now. Having trouble with the asset editor though so I have to fix that before I can try them out properly.

So, in line with all the dumpster and trash props I've made recently here's a peak at my dumpster area park. At least it's a park right. Maybe I should make it a garbage building instead. It would be cool to have a garbage truck coming out of it! What do you think?

Oh, and there are no props needed except for the lamp at the entrance.

So I've tested both the garbage and the park version. The garbage version spawned tractors instead of garbage trucks which is weird! Have to try that again and see what I did wrong. The park version have a parking lot at the entrance and it looks nice when sims park there. See pic below. Hm, can't really make up my mind…

I've also tested my dry stone wall which I'm going to use in my farming district. Looks pretty nice even though I really can't see that the normal map makes any difference. Maybe the wall is to small?

Instasub to your dry stone wall as soon as it's released! Spark's one is nice but less detailed and quite long...

Normal maps should work regardless of the size and the wall isn't even that small, that's strange... Flat on normal maps aren't really visible, does it appear at more acute angles?

Make sure your UVs aren't flipped, normal maps don't work on flipped UVs.

Also if your texture is really high contrast it may be harder to notice the effect of the normal map.

Not that I can see. I normally use the time warp mod to se if the normal map is applied. Maybe my First person camera mod messes things up. I'll have to look in to that.

I love your attention for details, the combination of decals and props looks so great on this little park/ garbage facillity. Odly, it reminds me of Half Life 2.

    These are looking awesome.

Question. What are these walls? And what is that building with the Happy Tree Friends on it in your earlier post?

Would it be possible to make them into props? They would be really handy to have. Something like 8m and 16m versions, like your awesome corrugated fence props?

I can do that but I have a few other assets to finish up first.

Thank you! They are actually on the workshop now as "friends only" because I've made them into one of them fancy packs. I'd like someone to try it out before I make it public. If you want to just add me on steam to get access! ;)
