Great. So I will be able to add props to intersections like with Advanced Building Tool? :)

SamsamTS, it's actually not working too well for me, I disabled advanced toolbar and search box but when I enable this one the top part of my UI slides to one side and the pause checkbox is over the screen. I loaded like 20 times with different mods disabled while conserving my sanity (thanks to thale5) and this is the problem. I think this happens because the mod forces it's place onto the UI and there's no spot for it so the UI breaks. If you could you change the button to drag-able and not fixed or include an option to disable it all together or if you know this problem is caused by something else (probably since Search Box also has UI but works fine) then fix that please. The mod is very good and works very fast where as search box was really cumbersome and stalled the game each time you searched something.

@accapulco - does your UI look like this?

Any chance you're playing the game in a very high resolution (like 4K)? Above is what my UI looks like when I play the game in 4K. When I use 1080p, the UI looks fine for me.

I have the same problem with resolution 1920x1200, with the "yellow frame" slightly moved from original position. But the mod worked :) After disabling it everything went back to normal.

Yes Judazzz it looks similar to that but I play on 1080p at 1920x1200 (16:10) maybe this is the problem since odrzutowiec has the same issue. SamsamTS sure I can post it, there are several logs in the directory which one do you want?

From the looks of it, the mod seems to struggle with higher resolutions, as someone also posted an issue when playing at 2560x1440 on the Workshop page. Perhaps one or more positioning variables were statically set based on a 1920x1080 resolution?
Is the 'Pause outline' only incorrectly positioned vertically when playing at 1920x1200, or also horizontally?

So I fixed the resolution issue.

I'm not really happy with the fix though. Any modder out there knows why UIComponent m_Layout could ever be null? It seems to be an issue with UI templates but I don't understand why, I copied the code from GeneratedScrollPanel CreateButton. Using GetAsGameObject and AttachUIComponent.

Thanks for the fix, I've been using it all day and I have to say this is so much more than just a "find it". Every menu opens up just like snap, the F4 one always froze the game for 2 seconds, not any more. I no longer have to plan around frustrating my self and plop by groups accordingly just to minimize the amount of menu changes I had to make. Thanks a ton!

@accapulco It's a very ambitious move I choose to make by replacing part of the UI. Glad to hear it helped someone. It causes some issues with some mods but hopefully I can get them fixed.

What's the F4 menu? Isn't F4 the quick load shortcut?

    I guess he means Ctrl+F?

Now that I'm here, I have a question about Find It!

Search Box Mod has a type filter (prop/building/growable etc.) and a size filter (1x1, 2x3 etc.) Are you planning on adding that too?

F4 was my shortcut sorry, it's the menu that opens terrain editor, props, decals etc.

Hi @SamsamTS, thank you for the extremely useful FindIt! mod! I was wondering when/if you will be implementing the custom tags feature? It would be extremely useful in grouping assets together, since the Building Themes mod (while great) doesn't include things like parks/schools/etc. There's an AssetsLists mod, but its very clunky and finnicky to use. So adding custom tags would be fantastic, if its possible! I know you said it's a planned feature in your mod description but just wanted to catch up and see if that's still in the works :)

Thank you for that useful and high quality mod. For now it saved a good amount of my time to fully bulldoze one of my city districts. I am sure the other mods are good too, but for now I am fixated on one thing...

I will appreciate it very much if this mod will help to place Props in the Asset Editor precisely. The mod already does it, really, but the snap step is too large (8 meters). As far as I understand it, this mod can do a snapping to 0.5 meters (or any other number) in the Asset Editor just by changing one value in code ("Mathf.Round(testPosition.z / 8f) * 8f" -> 8f to 0.5f). Is it possible?

    Best regards.

I use the game in 1440p and have never experienced the issue described above with the UI.

Why does one drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

Why is delivery by boat called a cargo and one by land called a shipment?
