    Here we go!

Just a first "preview" of the airport. Still along way to go.

Dont mind the yellowish colors, hopefully i will manage to find the colors I had previous to the reinstallation.

Can anyone guess which airport I've taken inspiration from?

Still havnt found any good colors. Better than the last shots, but not good enough. Might be because i choose a desert map?

Anyway here is what I got so far.

The Go-terminal, the D-gates and the C-pier is complete (more or less, will add some more details)

    JuDpGeV.jpg

    The C-pier:

    Some stands for smaller aircrafts.

The Go-terminal in the foreground, and the C-pier in the background:

One during the night, will add more light on the aircraft, vehicles and taxiway on a later stage:

    So far so good!

You slowly start to recognise the airport.

Great looking airport.  I'm curious as to where you got those airport buildings from?  I have vasmir22's ones but I can't tell where you got the ones that make up the A-pier, B-pier, C-pier, the Go-Terminal, and the sky bridges connecting to the go terminal.  I'd love to be able to use them. Thanks!

    Thank you :-)

They are created using various props by several authors. Vasimr22 being the most important.

The walls of the terminal, for example, are built using Vasimr22's gate props

The last part of the terminal is complete. I feel sorry for the passengers that has to walk for a good 20 minutes after arriving at these gates!

Next up will i will focus on completing the taxiway/runway-system.

Unless I get bored and start with the landside-part of the terminals :-P

SO...apparently I've hit the cap for the number of props one is allowed to place which, of course, causes "some" problems with continuing this airport :-(

Does anyone know a way to raise the cap?

With that said, this is how far I've come. The overview shots doesnt really show all the small details (which is why the cap was hit in the first place *Doh*)

    Pp6tLwQ.jpg

This post will mostly show how the airport looks at night. With a higher cap I would place out alot more lights and signt but for now this is what I got.

Most of the terminals (the Go-terminal is missing)

    htiGKHq.jpg

Some road traffic between the piers:

    6583SYU.jpg

The C-pier (long haul flights mostly)

    u5yrASP.jpg

    The Go-terminal

    JKIx2Ha.jpg

    The B and A-pier:

    fEVJSfK.jpg

Taxiing for departure! A SAS CRJ with a Primera B738 chasing behind:

    HDKt9yH.jpg

Guess this is it for a while, unless there is a way to raise the maximal amount of props that can be used...

    Looking great again.

Regarding props, there is the Prop Unlimiter. Say good-bye to Move It! at that point though. Move It! will still work for your old props, but not with anything above the original limit.

Honestly, I don't think it's a good idea to use that mod.

You blew your prop limit just on the airport? Wow, that's a lotta props. Though looking at the pictures, which look amazing btw, I can definitely see how.

Damn... Well, great job with the airport! The prop limit is a bit of a nuisance, isn't it?

I don't know how practical it is, but as I understand it, props used in 'parks' don't count toward the prop limit.

Are there any recurring features such as helicopter pads or plane stands or anything that you could put together in the asset editor, then place manually in-game. It might save you a good number of props in the long run if you can find a few things like that.

Hmm not all sure about that mod either...I've been wasteful with the porps though, for example I've been using the small pieces of the taxiway lines instead of the long ones.

The plan is to go back and and "steamline" my build. Quite boring though so I'll see when I have the energy to do it haha...

Thank you! Yeah it really is...Didnt know there was one. If I had known, I would have built the airport differently...

Well, that is indeed a shame, was really hoping it would last way longer than this.

Hopefully you find a solution, CO certainly wont help.

Hopefully I will get around and streamline/ make the build more effective at some point. Feels boring though :-(

Hmm that is actually a good idea, just gonna figure out how to use the asset editor. Never used it!

There seems to exist some trick of "freeing" props from the limit by using Move It! to copy them to a different place, delete all originals and copy the copy back. If I understood it correctly, the game clears the original limit that way. I haven't tried it myself though, and there may be something I explained wrong. I'm not sure whether you will have to actually build your airport on a "dummy" place first and keep the copy as the original.
