I've been downloading a ton of content to develop some seaports and have followed a lot of the threads. I like a lot of the SOMY content and some of the NOB stuff as well, but I am struggling to find any detailed information on their products and translating the pages to English offers equally limited info. I'm specifically interested in stats/dependencies for the following: NOB Dry Dock, SOMY Car Loading Port (RoRo), SOMY Container Port, SOMY Grain Loading Harbor, SOMY Coal Loading Port. Also, if anyone has support info on other NOB products found on this website (http://hide-inoki.com/~nob/), it would also be greatly appreciated.

Other SOMY products I've been able to find uploaded to STEX by Equinox, so those have more detailed info, but not the ones listed above. If anyone has the info or can link me to a thread that has the info for the above add-ons that would be great!

The only support for any plugins by volunteer makers is auto-support.  If you can't fathom the use of the item, you either have to take the time to dig into it, or abandon it.  Many authors have left the scene, so you are on your own.

Well, as much as I know, there have been few attempts to make a list of Japanese buildings with name of the building, picture, tips ...  mainly on SC4D I think. However, I have never really searched for Japanese buildings so I can't help with direct links. Sorry

Your best bet, if you don't have it download and install SC4 Tools. This will allow you to look at the files and see the stats for various properties in a user friendly program.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

I feel pretty confident in saying that almost (if not all of) SOMY's content has no dependencies, including the ones you mentioned. Most of his lots are landmarks with no jobs at all, unless otherwise stated. NOB, I'm less sure about, but it probably is the same case. However, as rsc mentioned, your best bet is to open them up and look at them yourself with SC4 Tool or the Reader.

I've been using SOMY's stuff for years and can say that none of his releases of his that I have used (which includes all of the ones you mentioned) have any dependencies. All of the SOMY lots you mentioned are static landmarks. You'll have to use SC4tool like rsc said to find out information about power consumption and stuff as I have no idea about any of that.

NOB's content I don't have a clue about.
