The top one shows in firefox. They all turn to the incredible red X in IE Tab. Not to mention a ton of messages asking me to sign in to MSN storage. Also, the images aren't linked to actual pictures, they're linked to MSN storage login pages. So I doubt anyone but you (or someone with an MSN storage account, maybe) can see them.

Try using Imageshack or ImgCity instead.

And haljackey, do NOT convert pngs to jpegs. You will ruin the image quality. Just post the pngs.

Ahhh, it looks like you've met Lawnchair Larry. I believe he is a remnant from one of the older SimCity games, but I may be wrong. He appears randomly, floating about your city on his lawnchair, and is quite harmless.

you could also use photobucket...

PS - I (like so very many other users) can NOT see ANY image posted in .png on these forums

PLEASE to be ALWAYS changing .png to .jpg*

*or change .png to .bmp, upload to photobucket, and post (uploading to photobucket changes them automatically to .jpg, but mayreduce image size (may also only be as result to photobucket account settings... I have to experament with that) and converted images in this way do not bleed the colors together)

cityhawk: Lol, that happens to me quite often, mainly when I delete roads, and it still has not recalculated the route.

SpecialEddie: I just noticed that before I saw your pic (except now it's 3). Also, if you'll notice, all of the pages out of the SC4 General Discussion forum have been deleted. Does anybody know why?

I think this has been answered elsewhere, but it's just a bug in the reporting software. Everything is still there and accessable.

The two trains are way too close for comfort.

The cops in my city sure are great. Here they are fighting crime in space.

Okay I have one question for you all:

Where are they going:

wherearetheygoingcg9.jpg

Do they work in the middle of the street or what ?

haljackey: Please convert the PNG-images to jpg. First: people with MS IE can not see them. Second: They are smaller in file size

For this you can use IrfanView, it's free, fast and easy to use. I used beside PhotoShop, becauce makes picture with smaller file size than PhotoShop and is faster to use, when you just want to see a picture.

You know, I would give the opposite advice. Converting to jpeg format, even at 100% quality, sometimes means unavoidable loss of quality. Not as bad as 85%'s speckeled dithering, but still some color bleeding.

Also, I've never had an issue with IE viewing pngs.. and if someone has an issue with that the solution is easy: ditch the crap and get firefox.

So do whatever suits you. 34.gif
