Your buildings look good but low density buildings should NEVER have over 110 triangles in the LOD. The modders at XL Nation showed me how to make a LOD model from scratch and how to manually bake textures from the highest quality model onto the simplest LOD model (Cities XL has 4 models and strict limits on triangle counts for importing models, your houses would be rejected by the import program). "Optimize" only goes so far (L1 to L2 to L3, with further optimization getting most models down from 4,000 to 1,000 triangles and a fresh new model to get 100 triangles or lower).

Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

Words to live by:
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11

"Do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-3

The largereason LOD poly count is a byproduct of exporting from work to home modeling...most of those tris are in the roof. I can delete the faces and remodel as planes of course, that will just take a little extra time.

Looking nice, and 3.3 megs is very reasonable. Can I suggest making the driveway extend all the way out to meet the sidewalk?

Sorry about the delay on this guys....between working and buying a house, I have no time.

How would you suggest making the driveway extend to the sidewalk? The driveway is modeled in, just a regular plane object, so I'm assuming there's another way. Any suggestions?

wow I love these! They remind me a lot of my hometown Orlando Fl, we had a lot beautiful old neighborhoods with red brick streets and giant oak trees everywhere. :D

I didn't realize that. It's just that it doesn't reach the sidewalk, so it looks a little odd, having a strip of grass through the front part of the driveway.

If it's modeled in I'm not sure what you could do. There are some sidewalk/driveway tile props that might work. You'd have to try them out and see.
